The auto rotating screen and large LED display allow for easy reading of measurements in multiple orientations. The screen will not auto-rotate until it reaches +/-10° from the vertical position which is useful for accounting for spring back when bending materials such as steel conduit to ≥ 90°. With its strong magnetic base and grooved edges, the DIGANGL can attach to a wide range of surfaces, including conduit, pipes, saw blades, vents, and ducts.

This digital angle gauge is one of those useful tools that you don't usually need all that often. Being made by Southwire, it is intended to use for bending conduit, but it can be used for other things. When doing wiring, you can check the levelness of your metal junction boxes using this device. And if you're into cars like me, it can be used to help compute driveline angles. It thoughtfully comes with the two batteries that you need to use this device. The LED display is nice and bright and features some neat tricks, like automatic rotating when the device turns over. The refresh rate of the display made it so that my phone would not properly capture the display in operation, but it really looks nice. The magnetic base is quite strong, which is good considering how this tool will be used. I did not check the accuracy of this device, but others say that it is quite accurate. This is definitely a good tool to have in your collection.

I used this digital angle gauge for building a playground and it was perfect. Easy to use, accurate, and everything was perfectly level and square when I was done. It did everything I needed it to. Great little tool.

This is the kind of small, simple tool that one you have it - you almost can't work without it. While it's advertised for use in electrical applications, I ordered it for more general use - essentially as an enhanced level, to assist with hanging finishing elements. In cases where I want precision beyond a quick glance at the bubble level, this little angle finder does the trick. It's easy to get an instant reading, and see the effect (and quantity) of minor adjustments you make. Excellent for use in making adjustments, or deciding whether you're within an acceptable tolerance to proceed. The magnetic base is very convenient - it's extremely strong, and snaps right into position. The base design also allows you to refine the position of the gauge, ensuring you're flush with the surface you're measuring for excellent results.

This is so much more convenient than a level because a bubble looks like it's in a different position depending on the angle you view it at, and it may move slowly. But this digital gauge just displays the angle clearly and precisely. I like that about it. Of course, it's small so it's going to give you the angle of the short stretch that it presses up against rather than a longer run that you may be trying to measure, but the same problem exists with a short bubble level.

Testing against some carpenter squares and adjustable angle gauges, this digital gauge has proven to be accurate. It was only off by a tenth or two after I pulled it out of the box compared to after running the calibration. I really appreciate the auto-rotating display and it was quick to do so. Make sure you don't lose the instructions because some of the operations (like the calibration) aren't wholly intuitive. And since it didn't come with a storage case, keeping the instructions handy will require some extra effort.

The Southwire Digital Angle Gauge is an impressively precise and versatile tool for any DIY or professional project. Its dual 0-90 and 0-180 degree measurement ranges make it perfect for various applications, especially bending conduit and leveling. The magnetic base holds firmly on metal surfaces, and the auto-rotating LED display is bright and easy to read in low-light areas. It's compact, durable, and simplifies getting accurate measurements, whether for framing or leveling appliances. Overall, it's a well-built, reliable tool that’s worth adding to any toolkit.

Good tool to have and it's fairly accurate. I did find that it's difficult to get the angle just right, sometimes it was off just a little but removing it and placing it back would give a different reading and then I would just do that 3 times and take the average. Overall though pretty good and almost exact, only off sometimes by .5 of a degree from what I could tell. This was after comparing it to a protractor. 10/10 rating since its close enough.
