I highly recommend this beveled T square to anyone! I wanted something to make accurate angles for cutting drywall under a set of stairs at work and for installing tiles inside of a nieche. The lever to lock the t bevel square is very strong and will hold your angle perfectly, it’s a lot easier to get the exact angle with this lever compared to a regular dial locking t square bevel where you can barley fit your fingers into the area to tighten the dial and end up loosing the angle your trying to copy. I have been making perfect cuts every time with this angle finder. If your trying to not waste building materials or just make precise repeated markings on stocks of wood for dove tails and other types of wood working joints then I definitely recommend this sliding t square bevel. I was going to buy a trigjig sliding t bevel for 10x the price but found this one and decided to purchase this t bevel square. I am very happy I decided to pick this one over the trigjig because this one is definitely worth every penny I spent on it and more! It’s very accurate and so easy to use a child can use it to make perfect angle replications. It functions great and it’s easy to slide the t bevel without and drag caused by the locking mechanism. My only issue was it arrived a little marked up from shipping but I still am extremely happy with this purchase. It’s solid aluminum and light weight.

I really like this bevel square over the plastic models. Well made from billet aluminum. I did however soften the machined edges to give it a more comfortable user friendly feel. I also like the lever lock more than wing nuts, as most models use.

It is a bullet proof tool like I expected but the set screw is a bit short and it has to be turned very tight to hold its position when taking a reference measurement. The less expensive plastic handle unit from the same company is nicer to work with.

Craftsmanship is there, very well built, the finish on the aluminum is great, the finish on the stainless steel straight edge is also great. One thing I noticed and didn’t appreciate was the way it was handled trough amazons wearhouse/shipping, by the time it arrived it was covered in dents scratches and nicks on the fragile aluminum.

A washer under nut will stop bolt interference providing a secure blade. Quality and design very good.

High quality product and looks great displayed on my workbench area pegboard. I also gave 5 stars to Johnson's aluminum Try Square purchased at the same time. I would highly recommend these products especially If you live in a humid area.

This tool is made to last. I was quite surprised at the weight of it when I got it. The handle is solid cast aluminum. I used it last week to transfer an angle from a miter saw leg to an adapter to mount casters on the saw. This tool kept me from having to try to "eyeball" the angle and doing it by trial and error, saving me time, money, and frustration. If you do woodworking, get it.

Some people have complained about the knob not going sufficient clamp force to hold the angle. This is true, but it can be fixed easily.If you take the stainless arm off and give it a quick sanding with an orbital sander with around a 100 grit pad, it will give the arm sufficient surface finish to allow the aluminum base to grab. Easy as that.I like using the all metal bevel tools for metal fab. The plastic ones dont like being too close to hot welds..
