Perfect, must add, for all one series SA pedal. I am using it with a SA Atlas compressor. Midi thru works perfectly.

a bit of my feelings towards source audio as a brand:they can be compared to this: "sorry, your insurance isn't in network"or the main reason many people hate apple: they aren't compatible with their competitors products, though that shouldn't have any effect on the users.anyways, source audio wants you to use their products, their hubs, etc.I would bet real money they will soon add subscription cost to the editing softwares.but to refine this down to my issue with this adapter, and the pedal it's used for.the pedal has full midi support, they simply programmed it to be very difficult to connect to midi controllers, and added a trs slot instead of a midi slot to further make it difficult to use midi.so they plugged a sponsored brand, the only footswitch controllers compatible with the product,oh but also they are more expensive than usual. for just footswitch controllers.so finally they come out with this adapter, I get the mail.this is the process *to physically connect the pedal to your device* before programming your controller.first, plug the trs cable into the pedalthen plug the other end of the cable into the small midi reading box(idk what it's called, I'm a musician not a scientist)then you connect the box to another trs cablethen you connect the other end of this cable which is a female 5 pin midi jack, into your device of choiceproblem?whatever you PLUG INTO has the female jack.source audio. I'm not plugging my controller into your pedal. I'm plugging your pedal into my much bigger controller that controls many more pedals.so the only options is either 20$ for a 4 pack of trs to 5 pin midi maleor a 4 pack of midi male to midi male cable for 13$why?they don't sell singles :)could source audio have included an adapter, or maybe standard wiring, could source audio have made their products compatible with others via midi the entire time?yes. to all of that.the only reason I got this adapter, was because I had no way if controlling the c4 pedal, which stupidly advertises all of its preset features, that you can't even toggle while playing. I'm stuck with this thing, so I have to buy the adapter, and then buy the missing cable, and on and onthis entire brand is a joke, and literally none of their products stand above any of their competitors.I wouldn't even have to do all of this, if you just added one or two foot switchesbut all of this design seems intentional, it pisses me off, and I'm never ever going to have respect for this brand in conversationsyour buggy neuro editor app you have your video popping up on youtube like you did something good with nuero 3you added dark modedrag and dropand fixed none of the issues, still a buggy mess, still painful to navigate, the ui is not any better.you know when they say "boomers are stubborn" they mean to say, someone older who was probably successful in the 90s or 00s who thinks they know everything demanded that "this is how it works" and made some kids in the tech department fabricate something that looks pretty on paper butis an inefficient buggy mess, and is absolutely nothing to be proud of.I hate this product.I'd like to let you know if it works, but source audio is ran by high ego morons
