I received this as a gift and found that most of the pieces were scratched or had issues with manufacturing. The item's packaging was immaculate when it arrived. All the pieces were bubbled wrapped and taped so I don't see this as shipping damage. This could only mean that there's a serious quality control issue at the manufacturer which is unacceptable. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement for the damaged parts but they said that it would take 7-8 weeks. That's an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a replacement product. They referred me back to Amazon (presumably because they didn't want to make this right on their own) to do the return of the product. I asked the manufacturer if they could guarantee that I get a product in good condition and not damaged but they blamed Amazon's warehouse for the issue. This is why I wanted the manufacturer to send me the product directly in order to guarantee that the product is in good condition when it arrived but a 7-8 week turnaround time is much to long to satisfy a customer who's been sent a damaged product. Very disappointing.
