As I one time soundman for a famous band, Acoustical Engineer, International Consulting Engineer, I recommend this calibrator, which I personally purchased/tested. Why do you need a calibrator? 1. So you can trust readings over time. 2. So results will hold up in reports to legal entities. 3. I affirm here that I have not received any compensation for this review.

I use the unit to Calibrate Sound Level Meters. Don't know how I feel about the battery compartment internals and switch yet, they seem kind of weird. The price is decent; I compared different meter readings and the calibrator seems to be accurate within the advertised unit specifications. Time on like everything will definitely tell on this calibrator! Thank you.

Schallpegelmessers. Die Durchmesser der Mikros sind genormt.

The size of the calibrator is an issue. It's hard to fit it in my gig bag. Works as described.
