Great, thick paper. Love the easy tear pages too.

I’m not an artist but I like to draw & this is all I ever wanted. The paper is the perfect kind, the quality is good, it’s very much accurate to its description, texture, & it’s value all really good.

The pages are very loose but I think that's by design because the pages are perforated to be torn out as you draw. Also the alcohol markers I use will bleed through the paper, but using a spare sheet under the one you're coloring on fixes that issue. The paper is also textured. I'm not 100% if it's good for watercolor bc I don't personally use it but it is nice. A little thin.I recommend this fully if you're a pencil or charcoal artist. And it's good for markers too.

I loved the size, style, and color of this sketchbook! It allows for creativity and personalization! The paper thickness is great and doesn't allow for a lot of bleed. Great product!

A very nice sketch pad,,,,I wouldn’t hand this to a 3 year old, that will scribble away,,,a doodle pad will work for that. This pad is very nice and the paper has a good weight. I did get it for a grandchild and ended up drawing some pictures and I really liked the feel of it. I sketch quite often and I have some nice ones. Bristol, strathmore, canon and I have discovered castle’s brand is not bad either, and would be a good transition for your budding artist. Soucolors texture is smooth and therefore perfect for children and crayons or pencil sketching. The best part? Very affordable. The hardback makes it something you can take anywhere and have a good surface to work on. I want to say the pounds press for inch is 65, which isn’t bad, at this price point. I think this sketch pad will make any young artist feel special and understand the importance of savoring each page. The ring binding is really sturdy and makes turning the pages over, a breeze. No more losing much of your drawing space to the turnover crease. 100% usage of each page. I’ll say it again….I’ve been sketching for decades and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and very proud to give this to my very talented grandson, to do his story boards on. It works great with charcoals ,as well. I can’t say enough good about this sketch pad.

I REALLY like this sketching pad!! 😃1) Is spiral bound so is easy to lay flat and use.2) Can be used vertically or horizontally.3) There are a ton of pages.4) The quality of the paper is good; it doesn't shred or fall apart with use.5) Nice size, shape, and weight to carry around.6) Can easily take this anywhere for indoors or plein air sketching.7) Has choice of cover colors so you can assign each pad to specific sketching topics and stay organized.8) They make you want to draw, and draw, and draw. They are a bit pricey, but you definitely get your money's worth. I call thus my "sunshine pad" and I can highly recommend these as your go-to sketch pads. ☀️🌞☀️
