Got the PSP-3000 black piano from the amazon refurbished store and i guess its a Japanese model. Came in very clean and looks highly refurbished almost like a new one. I literally feel like my childhood is in my hands. Thank you amazon :)

PSPは、面白いゲームが沢山あります。もうレトロゲームです。オンラインゲームは殆ど無く遊びやすいです。

Even in mid-2020, the Sony PSP is still an impressive gaming system and the vast expanse of available games across so many different genres means you'll never get bored. From a pure feel standpoint, I prefer playing games on a PSP 1000 because that console is so solidly built and just feels right in my hands. That's not to say the PSP 3000 is cheap or flimsy in any way, it is noticeably thinner and lighter than the 1000, but you'll definitely feel the difference in your hands. The PSP 3000 does do one thing the PSP 1000 can't and that's the ability to play games on your HD TV. Pick up a Hyperkin PSP-to-HD TV cable and you're good to go! This is the second PSP I picked up from R&R Electro, and each time I've been impressed with what I've received. My model is a Japanese import, but that just means the 'X' and 'O' button functions are reversed on the main menu (easily changed using CFW) and I don't have the ability to watch UMD movies (not a concern for me). The one complaint I heard about the PSP 3000 is an issue with the screen in which there can be a problem with interlacing when objects are in motion, but I have not noticed this issue at all. Bottom line, the PSP is still a ton of fun and still impresses today...

I am almost debating on whether or not to ask for a refund on this. While I did get the product and it was shipped with some care at least and came with its charger, there is a huge scratch in the front screen bezel that is really deep and likely unrecoverable without sanding it down to almost nothing. The speakers are blown, and is noticeable even at just half volume. Some of the paint has chipped off completely and the battery bay door does not sit flush with the UMD door. I suspect this unit was dropped at some point. There also seems to be a image burned in on the screen, thought this is only noticeable in low light situations. Now that the bad is out of the way, lets get on to the good.Despite its rough shape, the buttons at least all seem to function properly. The battery and its OEM charger both function, a common thing that seems to be issues with used PSPs on Amazon either have a charger that is busted or the battery no longer holds a charge. I bought a new battery for the unit, expecting to have to have to replace it.The reasons are why I gave this product a review of only two stars are the reasons listed above and the fact that I paid 90 dollars for a product that if I recall was listed as "Like New" condition, and this is in far less so. Although I do appreciate the fact the unit I got was in fact a Japan import as advertised and take that into account when considering the price and that most Japan import models that are not used go for a hefty sum, however by the time everyting was all said and done, I paid nearly the same price that an Amazon Renewed PSP goes for, so this is why its a half pass for me, while this will make a good refurb project as a base, I feel that out of the box it was somewhat lackluster.

Everything worked perfectly on the PSP 3000 including the buttons. Not a single damage or scratch was found. Turns on great! Language was in Japanese in the manual booklet and the PSP but I managed to change it to English. Thanks so much! I can’t wait to play my first PSP game! Five Stars for the best seller I’ve encountered!

The PSP itself is fine, but the battery it came with was swollen and unusable. It also came with half of a power cord, and an sd card that had monster hunter saves on it.

It's alright. I just don't know why it can't pickup any Wi-Fi though. Also, instead of using X to select things, I have to it O and that is really confusing
