These chisels are crap not even hardened steel .Will not hold edge, poorly make major defects in all surfaces.QC really crapped there pants on this one.Will never buy again or recommend to anyone.Going to test material and try to harden myself which isn't possible for most people .

Sharp ready for action as soon as you open the package. Once you use the sharpening stone watch out, the wood falls off at the mere sight of them coming at it.

The rest of the bunches in good shape just this one it's not even fixable the bevels are angled the same way instead of towards each other non fixable unless I want a 3/8 chiselthe calling God has already broke the screw on the adjustment I guess you get what you pay for but they're actually really not too bad of a chisel once they're all sharpened up

The chisels were sharp and also comfortable in the hand but could have been polished a little better. The shanks were rough.

These chisels are definitely a great value for the money. They came sharp and ready to use. The case is great and holds the chisels in safely. I haven’t needed to sharpen them yet but I’m sure the stone and holder will do just fine.

This is a boxed set of 6 Chrome Vanadium Steel wood chisels that need a bit more attention to the detail of their sharpening by the maker. (Picture 1). The set is nicely boxed with covers for the chisel tips. I found the chisel tip on one was not finished properly with an obvious burr at the edge (Picture 2) and others were not as precision sharpened as I would prefer (Picture 3). I have deducted one star for this deficiency. The sharpening stone uses coarse and medium grits in a plastic holder that has non-slip bottom pads. (Pictures 4,5). Too coarse for a fine edge!The set includes a small angle keeper to rest and slide over the stone in order to sharpen the edges of the chisels at a fixed angle. With practice that works but I find the stone too coarse even on the finer side. The chisels have hammer cap ends and are impact resistant using comfortable handles. There are 2 carpenter's pencils and a snap off bladed razor knife in the set also as extras.I honestly rate this as a Limited Recommendation with 4 Stars. The chisels look like they are good quality steel but need considerable "tuning" to get them as sharp and straight edged as I would wish. The extras are...extras.
