I was a little leery thinking these lights might look too tacky but I ran a single strand around my black light tapestry and I am impressed I feel like these actually light up my tapestry better than the black light bar style lights, they also have other functions like slow twinkling and fast twinkling they were not bad on price either. They look great.

No instructions on how to get the remote control working. Battery compartment was so tight and instructions were clear on how to open it, but once I opened it and closed it, it became impossible to open again. The plastic to the battery compartment is too tight and it won't respond to the lights at all.Remote itself just won't work.The lights themselves are priceless. Doesn't feel like 40 feet, but they are pretty and made a room light up; glow with everything in your room that is white, yellow, orange and pinkish glowing back. Really neat.Near the plug is a switch to change the lights to flashing various patterns and there are a lot of them. Getting them back to static on took a while because of all the flashing pattern options to cycle through.Neat purchase. Remote is worthless but I do like the lights themselves.
