DOESN'T COME WITH ABILITY TO PLUG INTO A WALL ON ITS OWN, aka usb connection without the wall charger. And with only a few feet of length, kinda impossible to put these anywhere high.

I have a two-tiered shelf that I keep my collection in. The bottom wasn't very illuminated so these work perfectly to illuminate the bottom. Work well nice glowyness :)

It's not that bright. Will do nearly nothing for an average size bedroom. You would need 10 of these to make posters glow.

The lights work well. I painted my bedroom ceiling with stars and galaxies. The paint used to glow ok. But hitting the ceiling with the UV lights is wayyyyy, better. The paint actually glows really bright for almost 4 hours not. Also, they don’t use a huge amount of energy so I have actually been using power banks to power them. Super portable and fun. I would buy these again.

Just what I was looking for! I use these with a portable battery pack and have incorporated them in to a few costumes already, or carried them around for personal black light source. Perfect when you have a great black light reactive outfit, but there aren't lights already present. These were a hit when I carried them around an outdoor concert at night looking for great glowing fits to bring attention to, and create mini raves. Although most people probably won't be putting them through as much use and abuse as I have, I can tell you that they are well built and sturdy, the buttons can withstand a lot of clicking on and off, and these should last you a long time. They're so fun!

It's a bring your own power supply sort of thing but these things are inexpensive, reliable, and bright. Very deep Purple/UV. Seems to be 395nm or less, not the 400+nm that others have. It gives a nice bright phosphorescence to things that glow without appearing very visible itself. I use it predominantly on Uranium Glass. The mount brackets do the trick. Screws > adhesive though.I'm writing this review as I go to return some 15w strips from someone else and get these again instead.
