These are really nice bright black lights. We purchased them to use on a trap field for lighting for Cosmic Clays type shooting. My only concern is the durability. They are rated IP66 but I just don't have the confidence that these will last over time being outdoors in all types of weather.

A lot of people have commented on the heat that these produce - we had them on for about 4 hours and didn’t have much of an issue. Are they hot to the touch? Yes. Are they hotter than a hair tool? No. At no point did we worry about anything melting around them. They did an amazing job lighting out space, even in the time before the sun had set. Photo is from well after it was dark outside and they worked amazing. We had 3 lights focused on a 20x20ish area and it was great. The some of the light even spilled over into the rest of that open concept room (another 20x20ish area) and lit that up pretty well. Super happy with the purchase. The only complaint is that the power cord is pretty short, and since the lights are so bright we wanted to keep them up high above eye level, so we had to use a few 3-prong extension cords (of course, not the convenient 2-prong ones that we have laying around everywhere).
