Although this cable works I was disappointed with the fact that this is two individual wires not bonded together. This creates a tangled mess to deal with when out in the elements. Would not buy again nor recommend buying...

These cables were exactly what I needed to connect my solar panels to my charge controller. To begin, the cables are the correct gauge wire (10awg) and measure the full 20 feet advertised. Another brand I ordered in the past advertised 20 feet but measured out just shy of 19 feet, so I was happy to see these measure to spec. The MC4 internal pins are correctly centered, not bent, and in great shape as seen in the pictures. They quickly and easily snapped into place, and are secure, so I am confident they will perform well in regards to a watertight connection.The opposite end features an SAE style connector, something utilized in many solar panels, charge controllers etc. In my case, my solar panel used MC4 connectors, while my charge controller used an SAE type adapter. These cables were the perfect solution to get the two connected together. They also look and feel like a quality product, and I also appreciate the included polarity adapter. This adapter is extremely useful to ensure compatibility between the wires of the panels and what you are connecting them with, to ensure you don't reverse the polarity which is dangerous and can quickly damage and ruin equipment. Overall I am quite happy with these cables and would highly recommend them to others.

The wire itself is clearly marked as 10 AWG, 105 degrees C temperature rating, and 600V insulation rating. This is ideal for many solar applications. A SAE gender/polarity changer is also included to allow easily getting the correct polarity for you application.This cable should work well for applications that need to connect between a MC4 equipped solar panel and other connections that need an SAE connector. The waterproof seals on the MC4 connectors appear of good quality too. So far it seems ideal. I haven’t used it long enough to know how it will hold up, and if weather and sunlight will eventually damage it. The price seems to be about right for a total of 40 feet of 10 AWG wire and assembled with SAE and MC4 connectors.

This is a sturdy weather-resistant extension wire set. It has MC4 connectors on one end and SAE connectors on the other end. I used my 20 feet of extension cable for connecting my solar panel at the end of my travel trailer to the connection to the batteries at the front. These are solid, lengthy, hefty and plug perfectly into the solar panel and SAE connectors coming from my battery. Also included is a SAE reverse polarity adapter to ensure the proper connection is made. This is a high-quality,10 AWG tinned copper wire. It works like a charm for my off-grid solar system. They are well made and should serve me well for several years.

This is a very well made cable that I'm using to join solar panels with MC4 connectors to a controller with SAE connectors. I do want to point out that the specs given, while technically accurate, may be misleading. Prior to getting this I spent a fair amount of time with AWG tables and calculators making sure that the gauge and length would work for me without too great a voltage drop (a number that gets worse at lower voltage). I do appreciate that they came with a polarity reverser, always an issue with SAE connectors.
