I replaced the controller that came with my 120 watt briefcase style solar panels. The original controller would not support my new lithium batteries. This controller was inexpensive and has worked great! Pretty easy to swap too.

Does what it is supposed to. Easy to read. Easy to set battery type. I wish it told you the wattage being used. Should come with the temp sensor to begin with. The front panel should come off so you don't have to dismount it if you want to change things around. That is a silly design for sure. Ordered the battery monitor to get the other information I wanted to see.Edit - the controller is strange. It displays amps and watts that don't seem to correspond to anything. Tells you battery voltage, but yet doesnt match the charge controllers display voltage. They are made by the same campany, they should be talking to eachother. Not sure since its connected per thebl diagram it came with. Connecting 3 100W panels in series results in Voltage Overload error. I was hoping to run my panels that way, but I guess the only option is in parallel. I was get close to the max amps of the controller with 3 panels. Also, the extra battery temp sensor is in Celsius only. That's lame.

I built a solar generator for our camping trips to run our diesel heater. I needed a solar charge controller that was compact, durable and would flawlessly be compatible with our 200 watts of solar panels mounted on our roof top tent. The Exico LNEX checked all the boxes. It was compatible with LifePo4 batteries was super easy to install and proved accurate compared to the battery monitor I also installed. If you’re looking for a MCU with modulated PWM that is durable and water proof this is the unit. I’ve purchased an additional unit for a smaller solar generator that I’m building for a friend.

Keeps my boat battery charged very well when combined with a 100 watt solar panel.

This little controller is even better than described. It let's me know the voltage of my batteries, how many amps, my battery is putting out and how many amp hours I gain each day. It also tells me if there is enough energy going into it from the connected panels. There are several easy to understand settings allowing you to choose what battery type you are using. It also has a battery temperature gage option but the gage doesn't come with it. My older cheaper controller did nothing but tell me if there was light on my panels and how many volts and amps my battery had.

Purchased as a trial unit for a series of PV powerplants for small camper trailers. The first one works great, is currently in service charging my shop batteries. Great for 12volt charging. Simple and tough. I recommend!

My inflatable boat which has a trolling motor I run on a LiFePo4 battery, and I got this solar charger so I could use the sun to extend the range of the boat. The quality of this device is amazing! I was going to add a separate lithium battery level indicator, but now I don't need to because this charge controller has battery level detection built right in. There's not much else to say other than it's very robust and does its one job very well. I would even use it without a solar panel just for the battery level detection.
