About this item

  • [7-Bay Battery Charger]--The solar charger can trickle charge 6pcs 1.2v aa/aaa rechargeable batteries and 1pcs 9volt battery together.Applicable batteries include:1.2volt AA size, AAA size, and 9 Vot battery. This range of household batteries are used in most electronic devices, such as Disc player,Remote control, Radios, Shavers,Toys, torches, outdoor solar Landscape string lights, solar walkway light, solar power motion sensor security lights.
  • [2Watt Solar Panel and Green Power]--It is a very good backup household battery charger kit.The builtin solar panel is made of crystalline solar cell. And the output power is 2Watt.It is also good for emergency and outdoor use.The amount of electricity produced varies according to the strength of sunlight. When under full sun (1000W/㎡), the solar cell produces Min. 600mA per hour. For 9V battery charging, the solar panel produces Min. 20mA per hour. It would be a little bit slow for 9V Battery.
  • [Charging LED Indicators]--Built-in with LED indicators. The Red indicator goes on when the solar panel is charging the battery. The Green light indicator goes on when the battery is fully charged. When there is no battery in the solar battery charger while it is placed under sunlight. The “Battery Full” LED will go on.
  • [Retractable Handle]--This solar battery charger has a retractable handle, which can be pull out for convenient carrying. The handle can also be folded as a support to tilt the solar battery charger, which help to get more power from the sunlight. For optimal power, ensure the solar panel (solar cell up) is directly facing the sun.
  • [Stronger and Durable]--Covered with ultra clear PV glass which is more efficient and also with Durable ABS plastic housing which is stronger. With BUILT-IN DIODE for prevents reverse charging from batteries.

Feature:
Under the sunlight, the built in solar panel can transform sunlight into DC electricity, then give powerful charge to the batteries. The amount of electricity produced varies according to the strength of sunlight. When under full sun (1000W/㎡), the solar cell produces Min. 600mA per hour. For 9V battery charging, the solar cell produces Min. 20mA per hour.
Note:
(1).When the solar battery charger is not in use, please slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF position, else product will drain power in the battery.
(2).Please make sure the battery(s) are placed in proper polarity. “+” indicates positive, and “-” indicate negative.
(3).This product is not fully waterproof, it is only splash proof. Please do not left it outside during rainfall or submerge in water.
(4).Keep the solar cell clean with a soft cloth for producing more power.(5).Compare to the AC battery charger, the solar charger would be a little bit slow.
(6).It is better to charge at least 2pcs 1.2v battery together.

Love this little charger. It has been working great to charge my AA & AAA Ni-Cad and Li-Ion solar batteries. It charges six (6) of them very quickly, certainly much faster than putting one (1) in a solar light. Definitely a good buy.

It charges batteries. I think it might be useful in a disaster scenario; I remember scrambling for batteries after Katrina.Quality is typical, not awful. ABS plastic and it’s lightweight. Might likely survive a drop or two but don’t back a truck over it like it’s an AK47.

Worked well the first use, questionable results the 2nd time, 3rd time green light on meaning batteries charged but they were not charged as I tested with volt meter. Now the 30 day return window has closed and I'm stuck with a $40 pos. Do not buy

This product looks great! It is a very updated model compared to my old one. Can tell from the great quality that it is going to work wonderfully… However, I have not used it yet as I did not purchase the batteries yet, the quality, the design Looks terrific

It is nice and works well, but it MUST be in direct sunlight or the red light on the front flashes like a Disco ball. -- Charging chargeable batteries from the top two makers of AA and AAA it has done a good job for us.

This is a good charger with one slight flaw. When I first used it and tried to load four AAA sized batteries into their compartments, the spring that supposed to touch the negative end of the battery is thick and rather of heavy-duty thickness and it was very difficult to load the battery/push the battery and spring downwards. I ended up getting a butter knife to shoehorn the battery in via the positive end of the battery. I imagine the springs will be somewhat "broken in" by repetitive use and this problem will go away, but only time will tell as I have only used this twice within the first week of owning it. Other than this, it is a good charger. Big light clearly tells you it is charging, and another light lets you know when it is complete. The carrying handle doubles as a stand that you can adjust the angle to use the sun to the maximum usage when charging. I highly recommend this charger.

I've had my unit for over a year and I use it daily. I have several battery operated candle around the house. I cycle charging them in this unit. I agree with 1 other reviewer the spring on one of the battery slots is really STRONG.(better than it not hold it in place)I've left this unit out in the sun in summer in Arizona and still no issues... so it well made.I'm ordering a 2nd unit.I will concur with several other commenters... it's not FAST but it's absolutely FREE... I'm all about saving some money and reducing any pollution. (this is 100% solar power) Save the planet 1 battery charge at a time. ; )

Seems to be made of tough plastic, you can take it anywhere. I charge the batteries ( 3 at a time) while driving and parked. Why three at a time? Because it takes most of the hot, sunny and clear sky day to charge 3x650 1.2v 600mah about 4hrs or longer If they are not fully dead. The same is true if you add more batteries i.e aaa, aa, and the 9v a total of seven. This will easily take a few days to fully charge batteries. After that, how long will your batteries last? It depends on your use (1 day, 1/2 day?). Overall it works just takes time and lots of it. It’s rated to 2000mah battery ( that equals a long recharge time). Your batteries would need to charged daily to max performance would be my suggestion. P.S. It took so long to charge I contacted the company, because I thought it was broken. Think long and hard before you buy this!
