Love this little charger. It has been working great to charge my AA & AAA Ni-Cad and Li-Ion solar batteries. It charges six (6) of them very quickly, certainly much faster than putting one (1) in a solar light. Definitely a good buy.

It charges batteries. I think it might be useful in a disaster scenario; I remember scrambling for batteries after Katrina.Quality is typical, not awful. ABS plastic and it’s lightweight. Might likely survive a drop or two but don’t back a truck over it like it’s an AK47.

Worked well the first use, questionable results the 2nd time, 3rd time green light on meaning batteries charged but they were not charged as I tested with volt meter. Now the 30 day return window has closed and I'm stuck with a $40 pos. Do not buy

This product looks great! It is a very updated model compared to my old one. Can tell from the great quality that it is going to work wonderfully… However, I have not used it yet as I did not purchase the batteries yet, the quality, the design Looks terrific

It is nice and works well, but it MUST be in direct sunlight or the red light on the front flashes like a Disco ball. -- Charging chargeable batteries from the top two makers of AA and AAA it has done a good job for us.

This is a good charger with one slight flaw. When I first used it and tried to load four AAA sized batteries into their compartments, the spring that supposed to touch the negative end of the battery is thick and rather of heavy-duty thickness and it was very difficult to load the battery/push the battery and spring downwards. I ended up getting a butter knife to shoehorn the battery in via the positive end of the battery. I imagine the springs will be somewhat "broken in" by repetitive use and this problem will go away, but only time will tell as I have only used this twice within the first week of owning it. Other than this, it is a good charger. Big light clearly tells you it is charging, and another light lets you know when it is complete. The carrying handle doubles as a stand that you can adjust the angle to use the sun to the maximum usage when charging. I highly recommend this charger.

I've had my unit for over a year and I use it daily. I have several battery operated candle around the house. I cycle charging them in this unit. I agree with 1 other reviewer the spring on one of the battery slots is really STRONG.(better than it not hold it in place)I've left this unit out in the sun in summer in Arizona and still no issues... so it well made.I'm ordering a 2nd unit.I will concur with several other commenters... it's not FAST but it's absolutely FREE... I'm all about saving some money and reducing any pollution. (this is 100% solar power) Save the planet 1 battery charge at a time. ; )

Seems to be made of tough plastic, you can take it anywhere. I charge the batteries ( 3 at a time) while driving and parked. Why three at a time? Because it takes most of the hot, sunny and clear sky day to charge 3x650 1.2v 600mah about 4hrs or longer If they are not fully dead. The same is true if you add more batteries i.e aaa, aa, and the 9v a total of seven. This will easily take a few days to fully charge batteries. After that, how long will your batteries last? It depends on your use (1 day, 1/2 day?). Overall it works just takes time and lots of it. It’s rated to 2000mah battery ( that equals a long recharge time). Your batteries would need to charged daily to max performance would be my suggestion. P.S. It took so long to charge I contacted the company, because I thought it was broken. Think long and hard before you buy this!
