Helps from over watering your plants. I would recommend that you insert it in several places in the pot before adding more water to get an accurate reading.

The meter seems to work. It could tell the difference between moist and dry soil. I’m not sure how accurate the gauge is but sufficient enough to tell if the soil is dry.

This is just what is needed to properly water my 45 houseplants. This is my second one however as the first one stopped working after 4-5 months. I use it daily.

I'm an indoor plant lover and for years I have been killing them, not with love but with water. With this moisture meter I just give a quick check before watering, and I'm surprised how few of them really need water. I hope they will last longer and do better from now on.
