These cocoa butter unscented soap base square are good. In the two pound set, the blocks are cut into 1 pound blocks. This is a great soap base to melt and then use to make original/unique recipes with essential oils, dried flowers, etc in an individual mold (not included). I already ordered a larger set. Hope this helps! :-)

For many of my reviews, I take pictures and post them. However, on this listing, what I received looks EXACTLY like the pictures in the listing. Picture perfect product.Soap is very neutral, virtually no aroma, could be covered with the lightest of scents. Soap, before mixing is also very neutral, neither drying nor excessively moisturizing. You can make this soap what you want it to be. Included soap formulas are a nice touch for those new to melt and pour soap making.

I've never made soap before, so I don't know what to look for, but this soap base looks good and comes with a recipe book. Looking forward to trying it out!

This soap base is excellent for creating your own soap recipes or using it as is. The soap base comes with a booklet full of lovely soap recipes -- Moroccan, Oatmeal, Cocoa Butter, Honey, etc. You melt the base, add whatever ingredients you like and pour into a soap mold. Making these scented soaps from the base and enjoying them yourself, giving them as gifts or giving the soap base as is would be a wonderful gift for your craft making friends and family. The properties used to crease the soap base are all natural and healthful. It leaves skin moist and hydrated throughout the day without having to use moisturize after showing.
