Just got mine, not yet tried on the slope.You can tell it's somewhat sturdy at least by the weight.In fact, might be a bit too heavy for those who want their boots and binding and board as light as possible.

Snowboard leashes aren't really necessary anymore, but I wanted to have one just in case a resort required it but it's mainly for my son. He's a beginner and as a beginner, you kind of have to prepare for everything. This includes accidentally losing your snowboard on a trail. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.

This is simple and perfect. Exactly what we needed. No instructions w/ the clip, so if you don't know how to knot it (I can't remember the name of the knot you have to do, super simple), then you'll be lost. But otherwise, it's perfect.
