I had never used snow chains until I got these ones. My family has taken an interest in skiing, so I've been trying to make sure that we are prepared. A recent trip put us in a situation with a lot of snow, so I was ready to give these snow chains a try. I ordered these based on my tire size, and they seemed to fit just fine. They were easy to install and the mechanism for tightening the chains is really helpful. The included bag and gloves are a nice touch. The chains seem to work well, and I was able to drive through adverse conditions with no problems.

They arrived fine, even though they’re real heavy they look fine but who knows if they’ll work we’ll have to have an ice storm Someday

I could not find my exact tire size in the list, but it was sort of in between two that were. It worked out and the ones I ordered fit just fine. For me one of the key features is the heavy duty carry bag. Most of the chains I've owned just came in a cardboard box. The cross links are of a heavier gauge than the outer links, but the corrosion resistant coating leaves something to be desired. The included gloves are a nice feature. They come with a small Installation Pamphlet that is concise, easy to understand and well illustrated. Not sure there is enough winter left to get a functional test, but I think they will be just fine

I’ve been using tire chains off and on for over 40 years. And in the past it’s always been difficult to get them tight and keep them secure. I usually use rubber straps or the rubber circle tire chain tensioner with the hooks on it. These tire chains have a unique way built in to tighten them without the need for any added devices. There are several cams on the side of the chains that set on the outside of the tire. After installation you simply use the supplied tool to twist the cams until the chains are nice and tight. Couldn’t be simpler. I’m still going to use the round rubber tire chain tensioner with the hooks on it. But that’s just me. The chains themselves are of at least as good of quality as any I’ve ever seen. I actually prefer the chains that only run perpendicular to the tire tread with no parallel chain running down the middle in between. Which is how these are designed. The installation instructions are clear and easy to read and I got a pair of thick heavy insulated gloves with waterproof material on them as well. The only negative is that I’m 6’3” tall and weigh 265 lbs and I can palm a basketball and the gloves are to small for me.
