I bought these snow chains for my 2023 Tesla Model 3 performance and after 1 use for 10 miles my rimes were extremely scratched and scuffed. Will have to be minimum a $500 fix for all 4 rims. Recommend finding other chains that don't damage rims

These saved my son’s Front Wheel Drive Nissan Kicks from going off the road while traveling in North Carolina on snowy roads for a ski trip. Several other trucks and SUVs and jeeps without chains were stuck on the side of the road because they didn’t have chains even though many looked like they had 4-wheel drive. So now he takes these chains every time he goes skiing or into the mountains on wintry days. He did practice putting them on the tires at home before traveling so he knew how they worked, and he said they were able to put them on the car on the side of the road heading up the mountain.

I haven't needed to use them but they fit perfectly and feel like good quality. It even has a laminated instruction slip. If I do end up using it I'll update.

I got this tire chain for my road trip from San Francisco to Portland this winter but didn't actually need it. You must practice installing it on both tires so you'll know what to do when the time comes. It's one thing to do it on a bright weekend day in the comfort of your driveway, it's another when you're trying to do it on a dark night where the ground is wet & slippery and your fingers are frozen to the bones. While this chain does fit my Tesla Model S, the wheel well clearance is minimal. I realized that I can gain some additional clearance if I jack the car up to let the tire drop a few inches. Installation mechanism is fairly standard, you route the stiff cable to the inside of the tire and attach the hook, then use elastics to stabilize everything in place. Everything is color coded and photo instructions are clear & concise. Comes with gloves & arm sleeves which is a nice touch. Everything fits in a zipper case. Highly recommend.

These chains are easy on and easy off. They have some really good features, like the ratcheting self tightener, as welll as the three point rubber hooks. The video was super helpful to show the easiest way to put them on. With so many moving pieces, it is great to know which one to start with, and the best way to step through it all.I am a little wary about the plastic pieces on the tensioner chain assembly. However I am hoping that the chains have been tested throughly in all weather conditions. Ideally, you should only have chains on a car for as short a time as possible. I'm looking forward to trying them out in the snow this coming winter.
