Important to order the correct model that fits your tire size. Sizing chart wired well of my order.

These chains got me through a week of ice and snow in Northern Indiana. My rear wheel drive Grand Cherokee had gotten stuck in ice and slush the previous year. I knew I needed these due to my tires not being the right style for snow and ice. The bands are awesome for traction in snow and ice. They fit my tires very well. I did have an issue going up a concrete ramp in a parking garage. Lost traction. Cars behind saw me stopped and I got out to wave them back. They reversed and I backed down the ramp. Was sketchy and could've been a bad situation without quick thinking/acting. It was driver error. I admit that. So in the right conditions these are great. Just be smart about traction on wet exposed pavement. Made well. Be sure to maintain them. Wash the salt off of them then lube them with white lightning or WD40. I do recommend them. Go Niners.

I purchased theses and of course I tested them only to find out they are the wrong size. I double checked the chart and I did purchase the correct ones. Then I checked the comments and noticed lots of other people have run into the same issue. Be aware that you may receive chains that will not fit on your tires so test them first. Don't rely on them to be the correct size when you're about to drive up the ski hill.

I am not from a snowy area. Bought these because the last time I had great difficulty installing chains. These are a lot easier for me to install. I just laid them in front of the tire, then pulled forward. Attached the outside, then turned the steering wheel to have a better view of the inner hook, and connected it. One note, while driving up a hill, the ice covered part the cables worked great, but when we hit a section that was bare asphalt, the cables could not grip at all, and we rolled backwards. So, it was a little tricky getting up the hill. Stay on the ice for a good grip up hills.

I ordered TC2111MM model to fit my Audi Q5's 235/55-19 tires (need to apply on the back tires according to the car manual). No way they fit even the first slot on the adjustable chain ending after trying several minutes to make it work by pulling and readjusting the chains. I then remembered reading other reviews mentioning the same for these type of tires. I drove down to the nearest auto parts store, got a set from a different vendor mentioning fit for the same tires. They did fit my car's tires even at 2-3 slots further inside in the adjustable chain ending. It took me less than 5 mins to fit these chains from the local store. So this confirms that TC2111MM does not fit as advertised to my car's tires. It's too bad they don't fit. They were more sturdier and cheaper than the ones I bought at the local store. I returned these.

Purchased two sets of these for my 4x4 truck for my trips into snow country. They fit my wheels very well but haven’t used them in snow yet, only test fitted in summer, but my extensive experience with chains tells me these will work very well. They go on quickly and stay in place, two important factors with their use. Stopping every couple of miles to re-adjust or tighten chains is not fun. Heading to the Alberta Rockies this winter, will be happy to have them on all four wheels.

A bit tricky at first to install but you get the hang of it. It was a life saver during my trip to Mont-Tremblant. No rust what so ever for my package.

I tested these on the front tires (245/65-17 Goodyear Fortera) of a 2008 Jeep Commander with quadra trac II. They fit perfect and were extremely easy to install. No noise and no issues with coming loose or needing adjustment.I tested them on both snow and ice and worked well in both situations. I used them on 2 occasions, once with traditional chains on the rear and the second time with no chains on the rear and these on the front.I usually only ran traditional rear chains and nothing on the front. After testing these on the front only after I removed the rear chains I'd probably only use these on the front and nothing on the rear because they were so easy to install up front (because you can turn the wheels) and did not need any readjustment. For reference the connections were even on the inside and outside in the 3rd slot. They didn't come with a case like my set of auto-tracs. The picture shows what looks like a plastic case but mine arrived in a cardboard box.

Bought these chains for 2011 Honda CR-V. These are the cables/chains that were recommended by the owners manual. They arrived in good time, a couple of days. Was dissapointed that cables came in a cardboard box and not a plastic box. Used them for a snowboard trip to Lake Tahoe. The cables were easy enough to put on but required me to lay down in the snow and mud to put on. Will travel with large plastic bag next time to lay down on. Cables worked well during driving, never came off during about 30 miles of mountain driving. Bottom line there are better cables out there but for the price, these work o.k.. If i needed to use cables often I would purchase other more expensive cables.
