Installation and Vision Testing
- Selecting the Location: Choose a quiet, well-lit area with no obstructions in front of the eye chart.
- Confirm the Distance: The standard testing distance is 20 feet (approximately 6 meters).
- Affix the Chart: Securely attach the chart to the wall using double-sided tape, making sure that the 20/20 line is at eye level.
- Conducting the Test: The person being tested should stand 20 feet away from the chart. They should cover their left eye and then their right eye separately, starting from the top and reading down the chart, recording the clearest line they can see.
How to interpret the measurement results
Under normal circumstances, applies to individuals who are 5 years of age and older, to assess your visual acuity using measurement results, you can refer to the chart displayed on the right side.
For instance, if you can read the letters on every line from 20/20 and upwards, your prescription is 0D, indicating good vision. However, if you can only read the letters from 20/40 and upwards, your prescription may be -1.00D, suggesting a need for correction. Please note that this may not represent precise results. If you require a prescription for eyeglasses, please visit a professional optometrist.
The inclusion of red and green color bars facilitates the assessment of red-green color blindness.
Additionally, in the case of children under 5 years old, as their eyes are still in the process of development, 3-4-year-old children may typically only be able to read the 20/40 or 20/50 lines.

it is a great vision chart, well-printed. I just found out that my vision dropped from 20/20 to 20/30… crying already

This eye chart comes with a cute eye cover that kids would enjoy and the pointer is helpful in directing the tester the line that is being asked that they try and read. I found that the toughest part in the eye chart was to straighten it out since it came rolled up, I laid it out flat for days with some weight on it plus I also inverted rolled it to get it to flatten out quicker. The eye chart was clear and the letters were crisp as I could tell. After I got the chart flattened out as best that I could I tacked the chart up an I could assess my vision using the distance guides on the chart. All in all if you’re looking for a good and durable eye chart to have at home this one is inexpensive and should last a good long while.

This eye chart set is a good price point. However, you get what you pay for. While the chart does work the items are not built to last. The chart is made of very thin plastic and the pointer are occluder are cheaply made. Good for a travel set that you don't care about -short term or 1 time use.3 1/2 stars
