Turns any shackle or tow strap into a snatch block. Minus one star because of the misspelling of (starength) lol. I guess no one in quality control Englished very well.

I am sort of old school and have always used the traditional Snatch Block setup. Welcome to the New School with this Recovery Ring. When I first opened the box and picked it up I was blown away at the weight ( 11.6 ounces). A very substantial hunk of CNC machined 7075 Aluminum Alloy that has been heat treated. The second thing I noticed is how well the Blue Anodized finish looks, it makes you want to not use it because it looks so good. They offer at least 3 different colors to choose from. It is rated at 66,000 lbs. and will accept winch ropes of 1/4”, 3/8” or 3/16” and states on the ring itself max. 5/8” rope. I have viewed online comparison tests of both the old snatch blocks vs. snatch rings and they are very similar in capabilities. This Snatch Ring is so much easier to use, store and is much more appealing. I can’t wait to use it to see first hand the difference. If I note anything that would require an update to this review it will be added. Hard to believe you can purchase this item for the low asking price, the anodizing would cost that much. Get them why you can! Highly Recommended! 5🌟’s

I've used these several times when pulling stumps and trees. They performed flawlessly. Definitely a good value for the money.

In the center which will ruin your synthetic rope. These are not discolorations from hanging when being anodized these are actual scratches and burrs.
