Carbon monoxide detector smoke alarm has a 2-in-1 dual sensors, photoelectrical and electrochemical sensors.
Hazard warning and test button
When a threat is detected, the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms emit an 85-decibel siren that can wake even the soundest sleeper.
At the touch of a button, you can turn off the alarm and test the unit to see if it is working properly.
LCD Digital Display
The LCD display clearly shows the real-time concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. (To conserve power, ppm per second cannot be displayed. The screen will only light up when the test button is pressed).

We provide you with batteries, which can be used when found inside the package and installed.
Easy to Install
To select the correct mounting location for the alarm, drill two 5 mm holes in the ceiling or wall (using the mounting bracket as a template), then insert two plastic plugs into the holes and secure the bracket to the ceiling with the two screws supplied.

I was please to get 3 matching smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They are battery operated and along with my other smoke detectors, provide great coverage for my home.The installation went well, and since these are battery-operated, there were no wiring hassles to consider. Each unit came with instructions, and mounting brackets. The replaceable AA batteries are also a plus.The detectors have shown sensitivity to smoke, although I haven't tested the carbon monoxide feature, beyond the LCD read out. Since I have a gas furnace and a gas hot water heater, I made sure to position these detectors in such a way as to maximize their effectiveness.The LED indicators are a great feature; they give a visual cue as to the detectors status, from normal operation to an alarm state.The digital LCD display is also a great feature. It shows real-time CO levels, which is quite reassuring, especially in homes like mine which have gas appliances. The extra loud 85 dB alarm ensures that you'll be alerted even if you're asleep or in another part of the house.With a battery life of up to 5 years, these detectors are set to protect for a long time.

Would have gotten five stars, but the darn screen doesn't stay on showing the data unless you press the test button.....who has time or the ladder for that?
