I have so far tried their 16" pecan & hickory in my 180 gallon offset smoker. Both provided excellent flavor. The flavor of the pecan was amazing but the hickory was way more efficient in my smoker. Will try other flavors but will probably settle on the hickory because it is the best bang for the buck for me.

UPDATE... After leaving a 3 star review about some wet wood, I come home today to find a box on my steps. Upon further review I realize it’s another box of pecan with a hand written note on it apologizing for the wet wood. Talk about great customer service and I was even asking for anything. Now they get a 5 star review just for this great gesture.Old Review...For the money I would expect all the wood to be dry and seasoned. That was not the case. Most of the wood was seasoned but a few pieces that should have been split were still wet when I split them. Again the wood that was dry worked well. But for supposed kiln dried I expected more.

This product does not overpower meats with smoke flavor. I use charcoal with one piece for 2-3 hours and then add a second for 2-3 hours more. Although I am smoking the meat for the entire time, I have never had a complaint of too much smoke. I smoke meats regularly and have had ribs or chicken or brisket for up to 30 people. This product beats anything you can buy at a local store.

I used it for grilling on top of some old lump charcoal that had become briquette sized and smaller it got hot as f**k this was great cause I'm always trying to lay down 650% degrees but not use too much wood or lump charcoal and I used only a skinny log maybe 3lb total and it easily went to 700 degrees maybe would have kept going had I used a few tricks to get it it higher but it was high enough. Overall awesome just used the left over log with a few scapes pieces from when I chopped all the logs down to fit in my kamado joe and they get to 650 no problem opened there and didnt go any higher because I was hungry lol but I'm sure I could get it to 750 If I wanted no tricks involved. I do use a propane beronzomatic ts 8000 to start it with normal propane and it's always a beast of a flame sometimes fire comes out the chimney. Overall this stuff out burns my super premium mesquite lump charcoal on power but doesn't last quite as long chunk for chunk. Stull very happy and price per lb seems fair if not good cant wait to smoke my wagyu brisket with a mix of this and maple I already have.

I am part of a competition barbecue team that that competes on the GBC (Georgia BBQ Competition). We started to notice that a lot of the successful teams were using boxes of wood that had the same symbol on them. We reached out and started to buy their cooking wood - it is amazing! Gives a great flame and just the right amount of smoke. We use the 16” pieces in our water smoker and the chunks in our gravity fed.We highly recommend!
