It's impossible to rate the durability of these folders as I just started using them. They seem sturdy but time will tell how durable they really are.

These expandable files are perfect for larger file storage and allow the contents to be easily seen and readily accessible. The colors can be used to organize documents for quick access. This is my second purchase, so I’m enthusiastic about the virtues of these durable, open access plastic folders. Highly recommend them!

Color coded. Plastic, so they don't get shabby. Big so they hold lots of things. Vertical storage, so a stack takes up less space (and doesn't spill over when it gets too high).I'm a gardener and I collect catalogs, and copious notes on how this plant did, how it looked, etc. I also have plans for a garden I'm building so I have more notes on what I bought last year and what I would love to add this year. The stack filled a basket 22 x 13 x 6". i.e. it was a foot tall.I just used a set of these to sort thru this stack painlessly in about an hour-- everything in just four categories. Each category can be worked thru at the relevant point in time.I'm sure you'll think up lots of ways to use this.

I have sold my house and am constructing a new home. I bought these for easy identification of each transaction. One for selling my home. One for renting my own home back while building, one for the new construction loan and one for the details of building the house. The colors make it easy for me to grab the correct one. They are very sturdy and a little more stiff than I thought they would be.
