I use it to keep my papers organized. This is plenty for me, and is very worth it. Similar to what I get at the local supplies store. Very very good, and I highly recommend them.

The file folders are decent quality but its reinforced tabs are not as strong as other heavy-duty file folders. The fasteners do not stay in their place and in some cases, it is a good thing that I wouldn't want to use the metal fasteners for just a few pages of paper.

These are great for home files. These days, with the prevalence of electronic records, you don't really need a filing cabinet full of files. You can keep files in magazine holders on a shelf. But some things remain the same: you want to keep your papers two-hole punched so they stay put in the right file. And you want some way to glance at the files to see which ones you want to pull.Normal one-third index files don't work well because only 1/3 of them show above the magazine holder. What do you do with the rest of them? These are like the files you see in a medical office, where they lay directly on the shelf with the tabs facing outward. You can put them facing upward in the magazine holder. It's a little bit awkward because the metal tabs for holding the two-hole punched paper are now at the bottom. But it's ok, just make sure to punch everything that goes in, and then fill any empty space in the magazine holder with extra file folders, or magazines, or whatever. Also, the metal tabs have plastic sleeves, which are nice, since that way you don't get cut on them. I used to work at a law office with bare metal tabs, and cutting yourself on those is way worse than a papercut. Or accidentally cutting yourself with a kitchen knife.

The set is exactly what I needed. The sturdy yet lightweight construction makes them easy to handle while ensuring they hold up to daily use. The quantity per set is perfect, providing enough folders to tackle multiple projects without running out. It’s a practical and cost-effective solution for both home and office organization!

Perfect for frequent home or small office use. Nice quality, but not ultra heavy duty. Recommended.

I go through folders like candy, and I have learned that SMEAD products are nothing but the best. Some people brag about their car; I brag about high-quality file folders. These are no exception; they are heavyweight paper and are great for organizing all those important papers that have been sitting on the desk for years now.

The Manila folders with prongs is an essential for office organization. The Manila folder is a typical lightweight folder, flexible and not too bulky or heavy. The prongs are secure for two hole punch. I like this style to keep organized for by separate cases. Reliable Smead product.

Disappointed. The folder material is too thin, not like those I have used and purchased in the past. Seems fine for MINIMAL paper on each side and short term use. The folder bends about as much as a few pieces of paper together, not rigid enough for my liking, and unlikely to hold up well with repeated or heavy use. My preference is more thickness in the folder for longevity and repeated use if needed. Would not recommend.
