With our Core Spun technology, we've wrapped lightweight Merino around a nylon core for added durability, while still keeping the comfort of ultra-soft, responsibly-sourced Merino next to skin. We added smooth flatlock seams to help minimize chafing and offset shoulder and side seams to lie smoothly beneath pack straps. No matter the season or the activity, this base layer is made for it.

no number, I have bought lapasa 250 base layer, Merino.tech 320 and 165, smartwool has no base weight number, I read reviews and some complain that the shirt is very thin so it sounds like a 165 and $90.00 is a lot of money for a thin shirt for that price it should be a 600, I'm going to buy another merino.tech 320 for $58.00 and I suggest you do your research before buying, the base weight number should be next to the smartwool name like lapasa and Merino.tech does

Smartwool is becoming one of my favorite brands. Now I have 4 or 5 of their base layers in different colors. I wear them as ordinary shirts (not just base layers.) I think they are great!

This product indicates in the written description and the image carousel that it’s made in the USA but it’s not true. The tag on the shirt indicates it’s made in China.

Just received. One shoulder seam is 4" and the other is 4.5". The shoulders look lopsided when I wear it. I've seen this problem with the Intraknits also. Smartwool has a serious quality control issue. Very disappointed.

The material was thinner than I expected and is also quite transparent as a result. Maybe the see-through quality is because it's white, I'm not sure. I have other lightweight merino base layer shirts that are the same weight as this one, and they seem to have a slightly thicker quality. Anyway, the shirt is probably fine in general, I was just hoping for something less flimsy based on the photograph.
