read about this product on several RV discussion sites. Put this up in our new RV in back side of cabinets and it makes a HUGE difference of temperature in the cabinets. Have only used in hot temperatures. Looking forward to results in cold weather. VERY easy to install. Just cut to exact size and pushed into back of cabinets. Perfect. Highly Recommend.

I bought this to insulate my windows & doors. Let me just say that this is a VERY GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT!! I decided to spend the extra money & go with the 5 mm thickness & I'm VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!! The temperature in my house has gone down at least 8°F since Installing the insulation. I am very happy with the overall value. I can say it is very heat resistant because I am also using it to insulate the exhaust from one of my inside Portable AC units & with it on there, you CAN NOT FEEL ANY HEAT COMING FROM THE EXHAUST HOSE.It is pretty easy to manuver to cut to size. It actually has pretty good sound insulation considering it's not the thickest available. I also did not have any issues with using adhesive on it. I really like the material it's made out of.I highly recommend that you spend a little money NOW to SAVE A LOT, LOT, LOT MORE MONEY 💰💰💰 down the road!!!!

We travel full time in our fifth wheel and these are great to put in the poorly insulated windows. It helps keep the inside cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I did knock off a star because the width is a bit off, measures to 47 5/8” and our windows are 48” so it turned out to not be as snug fitting as I was expecting them to be.

Used to cover two 8'X8' exterior basement doors that tend to be drafty. Using two lengths taped together with the recommended AL foil tape, and stapled onto the door frame, resulted in a solid vapor barrier with no drafts coming through. Found the extra thickness of this foam to help with its rigidity, especially when attaching it to the door frame. The only negative is that the outer foil layer is somewhat fragile. If you try to pull up tape once it contacts the foil, the foil will come up as well. Regardless, I highly recommend this product.

We moved to Texas this summer and it was so hot that the a/c ran all day. We were paying $500/month to cool our 2-story home. I could tell the heat upstairs was coming through the windows so I started looking for a thin insulation I could Velcro over the windows to help. When I saw the video of another pleased customer who used it to insulate the roof of their metal roof workshop. The video showed them using a heat thermometer gun to measure the temperature and it was 20 degrees cooler on the roof the insulation was on compared to the other side without the insulation. I wanted to give it a try. It was more expensive than some of the other stuff but I didn’t want bubble wrap insulation. So I bought a 100 ft roll and put it on the windows upstairs in a few rooms. I also put thermometers in those rooms and they were 5 degrees cooler than the room I didn’t put it in and I noticed my a/c running less therefore my power bill dropped $100. It paid for itself in the first month. Now with winter coming we will see if it also help to keep the heat in.

This is a great product! We're using it in a pole barn and it makes a great thermal and moisture barrier under foam sheeting.Just make sure you leave enough time for shipping. I was advised on the 26th that it would be delivered on the 30th. Today (the 29th), I was advised that it's running a little late and will be delivered on May 4th. That leads me to believe that it's likely it hasn't even shipped, yet. Just a heads-up . . . plan accordingly.Update: "plan accordingly" may be a bit of a stretch; the insulation actually DID show up on the 30. Perhaps I should have said, "Hope for the best." Either way, it's still a great product!!

Skirted my 5th wheel trailer with plywood on the outside and R12 insulation on the underside and added this product on top on the underside and as we are in Yarmouth N.S. and live in this rig we needed the underside to be impervious to freezing and it is doing an amazing job. Also have a small ceramic space heater under the rig but have seldom had to use it. Also great if you need to cover the inside windows but we have thermal windows so we don't need that. Easily installed with staple gun. Highly recommend.

I needed insulation in a structure that I'm using as an office and didn't want to deal with fiberglass and all the mess that goes with that. I figured I would give this a try. Don't hesitate, this stuff is incredible. It's thin and light, reflective on both sides, and it's all in one - nothing else needed. No vapor barrier needed, nothing. We literally unrolled it and stapled it up, cut where needed and used aluminum tape for some corners. And you could tell it worked after just finishing the ceiling portion. Once the walls were done as well, you could really tell. It was 10 degrees last night and it was comfortable in the building. Turned on a small heater and the space heated up within 10 minutes. I'm actually sort of blown away, it's so good that we ordered more to do another space and we will use the leftovers in a chicken coop that we are building. It doesn't smell, doesn't tear, is waterproof, rodent proof, mold proof...but mostly EASY to install. It took two 100 foot rolls to do the entire 288 square foot space. Just cut it with scissors or a blade where needed, easy to get around electrical outlets. Easy to hold overhead while stapling it to the ceiling. I'll never buy fiberglass again.

Purchased for my 22ft class A. Product is thin, easy to cut with a knife or scissor. Had enought to do all my windows even large front glass. Used scrap to insulate plumbing. Made a huge difference with the heat 15 - 20 degrees cooler. Hasn't been freezing here but it definitely keeps the heat in. I don't feel the coldness from my windows in the bed area. Before ordering I measured all my windows to get a guesstimate on how much to order, 25 ft roll was perfect!I cut mine with little tabs to lock into the window frame. You can tape them in but if you want light daily it can be a hassle. Magnets glued on would be a great option too.Definitely worth the money!
