I wanted this product to give me peace of mind in storing medication in a wine fridge. The Hub was easy to set up with the included ethernet cord. I haven't tried to do it wirelessly yet. I love having access to the temp range and the alert worked well when I set it up and it was outside of the range. I think it was a good value, when I purchased it it was on sale for $54.99.

I have 18 YoLink devices/sensors at my house. I love the system and all the various sensors it supports. Everything is very long range RF that has no problem going through exterior and interior walls and floors.I have one of these in the fridge, the other in the freezer. They work very well. It takes about half an hour the first time you put them in place for the reporting and accuracy to stabilize.You can get temp and humidity readings on the app, and some very handy graphs of how temperature changes over time. You can see low/high/average temperatures and lots of historical data. I'm a data geek - I love knowing all about things. You need the inexpensive hub and just one sensor to get started. Lots of bundled deals are available.Like all YoLink sensors, you can set alerts if things fall outside a predetermined range (of temp and humidity in this case). Alerts can be any combination of app alert, text, and email. You get a certain number of free alerts a month, after which you can buy inexpensive 'alert bundles'.You can name all sensors - I use their actual locations in the house/yard so I can instantly see where the problem is. I have two outside sensors - one on the mailbox, the other on a gate. Works over the Internet, not just local wi-fi.Highly recommended if you need such measurements. All the YoLink sensors I have (all 18 of them) have been reliable and consistent. The water sensors have saved me twice now from potentially expensive water leaks (80 year old plumbing). The app even shows battery levels for every sensor. Just magical.

This is an awesome product.We live in Ontario, where the winters are very unpredictable.We have been looking for a unit like this for our chicken coop for a long time.Now when I am gone for the day I can still keep an eye on the temperature. My girls will always be warm now.Easy set up, and stays connected unlike other ones we've tried

This system really works! I had some temperature sensors in my freezers that were linked to a display but they didn't work very well and weren't wireless. Also the display was upstairs and the freezers downstairs. Other wireless freezer monitors have a wire that connects the sensor to the battery transmitter that has to be placed outside of the freezer. As a result the wire has to go thru the freezer seal. Did like that since I don't want anything affecting the seal. The YoLink system sensors have a digital readout and are placed in the freezer. No interruption of the seal. They also have a display in each of the sensor so I know how cold the unit is.Got two YoLink sensors and a hub. Plugged the hub into my hardwired ethernet router node added it followed by the two sensors. Easy!!!! YoLink is capable of easily transmitting through the freezers and I can monitor it on the iphone app and have warnings set to advise me wherever I am by message and email if any problems devlop.This system works great and I intend on getting the leak detectors next.

The system is very easy to setup and the software is relatively user friendly. I removed 1 star for 2 reasons. First, the system claims to be Alexa compatible, and it is - to a degree. Once you enable/connect your Alexa account in the YoLink app, you can ask Alexa the temperature for the device. What you can't do directly, is have Alexa notify you if the temperature sensor alarms! You have to use a combination of 2 other programs to make that work. The other thing that could/should be improved is how the sensor is mounted in a freezer, for example. It would be convenient to have an clothes-pin type clip on the back to enable the sensor to hang from the front portion of the freezer door.

I was looking for a way to keep an eye on refrigerator temperature. We recently had our defroster quit working, the refrigerator and freezer got really warm, and we almost lost some food. Fortunately, it was winter, so we were able to put the food outside! After getting the defroster fixed, I began the search for a way to keep track of temperatures. The Yolink brand popped up in my Amazon search, and they had good reviews, so I decided to try them out. So far, I'm very happy with my choice. The temperatures are spot on. I put one in my freezer, my refrigerator and my basement freezer; they are working perfectly! I'm very happy with them. Not only do they work, but They were also so easy to set up. I highly recommend this brand.

Yolink products are the best smart home devices that I own. Reliable, accurate and have long connection range. The batteries last for an extremely long time, unlike claims from other smart home devices and cameras.Easily attaches to Home Assistant my main smart home brain. Also attaches to standards devices such as Alexa and Google.

I was very pleased with this purchase.We live in a cold climate and travel a lot. A big fear is to be away and the furnace packs it in.We received these yesterday and I set them up. Really easy installation with no issues. Install a phone app, scan the hub and the sensors and you are ready to go.I looked at various alternatives before purchasing these but the advantage with this one is the options where you can connect the hub directly into your network using a network cable and it can be plugged into a power outlet. With wifi there is always a chance that it drops and I do not need to work about hub batteries failing.To test the unit we moved one of the sensors into our unheated garage and within minutes we received an alert to our phone and via email about the low temperature.Now we do not need to have someone go into our house regularly while we are away.

SMS feature is free, but they only allow a couple hundred SMS messages for free per month, but if you're getting more than 10, you've obviously got a problem! Also shows temp and humidity graphs which basically tells you approximately when the doors are opened. Worked so well at home, I installed them in the freezer and walkins at my restaurant and the signal does indeed travel through the big metal doors without issue. The phone APP fires up very fast. You can also add other users and specify which temp sensors they can monitor or edit. These are nearly commercial grade and the price is really good. I have used other temp sensors 2x or 3x the cost that had less features. Tested temp performance with digital and analog thermometers and they are +/- 1 degree.The included main Hub/WiFi router is easy to set up and the instructions are well done and intuitive.

Previously I've searched for freezer monitors after a freezer full of food died. And the built-in alarm died with it. Well, this connects the sensors on something else, not Wifi or BT, into a tiny hub that just into any router. You download a fast smartphone app, and then scan a qr code on each device. They configure themselves! You can set temperature range alarms, and get alerts by SMS and email to your devices. And the system can add home alarms, more sensors, alarm sirens, all sorts of things. The LCD readout on each sensor can be read by itself, and the displays don't crack or freeze. You get to read a temp and humidity chart for each sensor. You can see how self-defrost really changes the temperature, and proof that a FULL freezer keeps a much steadier temperature. I'm in love with this thing. So simple to set up (if you look at the instructions) and such great information and performance. I'd actually give it SIX STARS if I could, and I'm a hard customer to please.
