The size of this hygrometer is perfect for my humidor. It is very accurate and easy to calibrate. I wound up purchasing a Boveda calibrating kit and it was pretty close right out of the box. This device pairs easily with my phone and I can check the humidity anywhere in my home. It has been several months and the battery still works. I wound up buying a second one to monitor my hedgehog's temperature.

I got 3 of them - they always show the same temperature +-0.1C and the same humidity +-1%, which is impressive. It suggests high accuracy.The epaper display is awesome - much better contrast than LCD.Build quality seems great.Cheap.If you need this kind of thing, buy it with confidence - it's great.

I have a couple of upscale guitars where the case humidity and temperature are important and with this I can monitor the case conditions remotely. The app works well on iOS.Not too sure about the battery indicator. According to the manual, the icon shown in all of the pictures means low battery but it's on with a full battery. Hopefully there is a change when the battery is actually low. Battery is a hefty CR2450.Absolutely beautiful display and styling which is of course important inside a guitar case :)

The e-ink display on this temperature and humidity monitor is a real standout in this product category. Readability is superb for a non-backlit display. This display technology should be standard on all similar models in this manufacturer’s product line.That said, I do have another temperature and humidity sensor device from the exact same manufacturer and the temperature and humidity indicators on the two devices are a lot further apart than I would expect with both devices in the same space. I also have two smart speakers in the same space and the temperature and humidity indicators on those devices closely match the readings on my other device, not this one. Without calibrated references I don’t really know which devices are more accurate than the others. The differences are not large enough for me to think this new device is defective, it simply has a consistent deviation from the others and is acceptable for my needs.I like having the magnetic attachment on the backside of this device but it is not magnetic enough to allow me to place it on either of my magnetic whiteboards. I had to attach an additional neodymium magnet with a larger surface area to get this device to adhere to my whiteboard without sliding.Overall I’m pleased with this purchase because the screen is a killer feature. If it had a stronger magnet and the accuracy were tighter I’d be absolutely thrilled. I’m hoping later revision la will address these shortcomings.

I own another Govee temperature product and discovered that it came right up on my HomeAssistant home automation software setup. This was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting to have to invest in something much more expensive in order to add more home automation sensors to my house. So I bought a three-pack of these e-ink type temperature/humidity sensors and they also came right up (after a simple config in the HomeAssistant software). I don't use the Govee phone app at all and can't speak to that but the fact that these units come right up with zero fuss in other home automation software makes me very happy. Now I have four total Govee sensors measuring and graphing the temperature ranges in various parts of my house and an outdoor greenhouse. The e-ink is very visible in comparison to an LCD based screen (like my home thermostat pictured here). I love the ease of reading this unit. Also seems to be the same accuracy as my HVAC thermostat. Might pick up another pack soon.
