I've been in the market for a smart ring for months. Having read every review of the RingConn 2 and Oura Gen 4 I was paralyzed by indecision. They're not cheap and Oura requires a $6/mo subscription. Somehow, this ring, in my size and this design, was $19 when I bought it. My thought was that what could be the harm in spending $20 to see if even really need or want a smart ring. I figured it would be a cheap knock off of better rings but I'm honestly blow away. Again, factoring the price, I can't imagine that any of the higher end rings offer THAT much more in capability, etc... to justify their price. I've been using it for a couple of days and have been very impressed. The BP, heart rate, etc... seem to be fairly accurate. The app is definitely the kind of app that's obviously been poorly translated from Chinese but it's very easy to use. It even comes with a small charging case. I honestly can't believe how much it does and what its capabilities are for having spent only $20. I don't think I would have paid more for it as I'm wondering whether I even want to wear a smart ring. But as far as this goes, for the price, it's a no brainer if you're looking to dip your toe into the world of smart rings.

I loved this ring, it's super easy to use, it connects super fast to the phone. What I like the most is that I can measure the quality of my sleep, this for me is super important because my recovery depends on it after workout.

I really wanted to like this ring. The price was great, but then again you get what you pay for and it's costing me more in the end.The ring itself is nice, gold is pretty, it's fairly lightweight, and comfortable to wear. All my issues are related to the app itself.First: scanned the QR code in the directions and come to a page in all chinese characters with no way to translate the entire page that I could see. Clicked on the download option thinking it would bring me to google play - but no. I had to go to google play and download the app from there.Second: app is NOT user friendly - not very complicated - but lack of appropriate and clear screen help. Instead of telling you what info is missing or incorrect on certain screens - you have to guess after getting 'network error' popup. This could easily be improved and I figured it out, but it was annoying. You also have to allow an insane amount of permissions for a smart ring - please explain the need for location, contacts, phone calls etc when I do not want those turned on for this. Now location makes some sense as for tracking outside walking or running - but the others? If i didnt turn them on I got a 'network error'.Additionally, the app is buggy and at times non responsive. I wasn't happy but was still willing to give it a try for the price I paid for this ring.I wore the ring for about an hour and liked the app itself. I did not have time to test a workout but the blood pressure was on par with my usual blood pressure, and the other settings seemed to be accurate. My main reason for buying a smart ring was for the sleep aspect as I don't like wearing a watch to bed.About an hour after installing the app and exploring it for my first impressions, I went back to my app to pull up a different and long installed app. Which brings me to the third and most serious issue:Third: my onscreen keyboard was no longer available. I could swipe the screen but not type anything as there was no way to pull the keyboard up. I took it to a repair shop (thankfully it's insured, but now i have to pay the deductible) and they were able to temporarily fix it. However, after they called me to pick it up and I arrived, the keyboard was missing again and they are not sure why. It will show in safe mode but not active mode. I had to leave my phone with them overnight as they were closing and I hope to have it back today. Semi-worse case? they backup my phone and do a factory reset. Absolute worst case scenario? I have to get a new phone to replace mine and pay an additional deductible for that.My phone (Samsung Z-Fold6) is barely 6months old. I wanted to really like this ring as I don't want to spend $400 for a Samsung ring or Oura - but I simply cannot rule out that this app caused the issues on my phone. The timing was too close. I also looked at the app reviews on google play prior to writing this. Would the poor reviews and other comments about functionality have changed my mind? probably not - i still would have tried it - but worth reading through as well.

I absolutely love my new smart ring health tracker! It’s sleek, lightweight, and fits comfortably—I often forget I’m even wearing it. Despite its small size, it’s packed with features that make tracking my health effortless and accurate. The heart rate and sleep monitoring are incredibly precise, and I appreciate the step counter and activity tracking, which keep me motivated throughout the day. The app syncs seamlessly, providing detailed insights and trends that help me stay on top of my fitness goals.Battery life is fantastic—I only need to charge it every few days—and it charges quickly. Plus, the design is so stylish that it looks more like a piece of jewelry than a fitness tracker. If you’re looking for a discreet and powerful health tracker, this smart ring is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

This being my first smart ring I didn’t want to jump in with a $400 plus purchase until I was more confident in the technology. This ring was pretty inexpensive compared to others on the market and it keeps track of the things I care most about. The sizing is accurate, it looks good, fits well, and functions mostly as advertised. The app needs improving to make this a 5-star product though. It was easy to download the app and sync the ring to it. The step counter appears accurate and having access to vital information such as blood pressure which I can’t get on my watch, is excellent. The calorie counter does not appear to be very accurate however. Plus the app doesn’t track various exercises such as rowing and elliptical exercises. Calories are measured in kilocalories which I’m still trying to understand.Overall it’s a nice entry point into the smart ring market as we wait for the technology to improve. I’m happy with the purchase.Update: Had to return the ring. Although it did everything it said it did it would not stay Bluetooth connected. It would disconnect in the middle of the night or at random times during the day. Once disconnected it was often difficult to reconnect it. Very unfortunate because I really enjoyed using the ring while it worked.
