I notice she really looks forward to this feed, eats it all, more lively. Love the ingredients-real food that chickens love-no Milo, etc! I like that the vitamins are packed in a pellet not powder, which is wasted a lot in my last product. She comes back in the day and eats everything.

What can I say, they said it all. As soon as I put this food in their bowl, they go nuts. When I put a different brand in their bowl, they scratch it away and out... looking for this food. Expensive yes. But less waste like the other brands. Thank you for making my chickens happy and healthy.

This is such a beautiful chicken feed and it’s a shame that it isn’t organic 😟 It’s sourced locally in the USA, non-GMO 🌟, no corn & soy free, thoughtful and earth-friendly packaging…checks all the boxes except the most important one…organic 🫠 All their effort is impressive but they’re missing a big key to 5-stars with it not being a pesticide-free feed. They came all this way so why not be pesticide free😢 I strive to find the best organic feed for our girls and this just deflates me🫠 I was puffed up with excitement thinking it would read on the box that they sourced product that did not have harmful chemicals but there was no such thing…meaning that there ARE pesticides in this product😵 Missing a chance at turning this first time customer into a repeat customer 🙁

It gave my chickens diarrhea so I ended up using it as a snack only.

Was skeptical about spending that much on mealworms, but was well worth the price. Most store-bought mealworms are very small and dried out. These mealworms were plump looked almost fresh and my chickens loved them will definitely be purchasing again and again.

These seeds are fresh, clean and top quality all essential for the health of the flock. No dust like so many other chicken feed have, and chickens love it. I eat their eggs so for me non-gmo Organic is absolutely essential for my health too.You can tell a massive between small batch and big box feed. These small batch seeds have quality control and no waste material in them, they have definitely grown under better conditions than large company seeds.Yes, pricey but long term I’m planning for not having to pay for medication or treatments (for both the birds and myself compared to if I consumed eggs after chickens ate seeds with toxic spray) so I just cut some of my personal, regular expenses I don’t really need for my survival ;)Very happy costumers and been subscribing for years

12/2020 UPDATE:Been meaning to give an upgraded 5-star rating to this feed. My girl has gotten used to eating the peas whole. they actually loosmaller than I remember from the first time I bought a bag (shrug). This is a quality feed that produces the most beautiful ripe, mango hued yokes, with a fantastic buttery flavor profile. I will continue to purchase and recommend this top quality brand.Original review:My rescue chicken had been eating homemade feed (totally spoiled her!) but I wanted something more complete in case I was missing nutrients. This layer feed looks beautiful and smells so wholesome. My girl is a bit finicky. I've slowly introduced her to this feed little by little. As others have commented the peas are to big for her to eat; she leaves them. I hate waste. To solve this issue, I laboriously take each pea out of her meal and give it a quick whiz in the processor. It would be great if the company would simply just use split peas. If there was a reason to not repurchase that would be it. Other than that it's a quality feed. I feel good feeding it to my beloved girl.

Updated 4/23/20 - I’m not sure why, but this time my chicken food came in a clear plastic bag with a zip tie around the top? It always comes in a heat sealed, resealable bag with the ingredients label and everything on it. It’s a little concerning, I’m not sure if it’s the correct weight (I don’t have a scale) and it’s highly unprofessional! Im pretty disappointed. Opened the box 3 days after delivery. Would return but I just used the last of their food and actually need it.So, unfortunately my flock turned their noses up to this feed at first. They are very picky girls! However, it’s extremely difficult to find a decent layer feed around here without soy, corn, or pesticides. The girls eventually eat the majority of it, but they’re not huge fans of the actual pellets. I’m sticking to this feed because of the quality, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. The cost is higher than most feeds, but I guess it’s the price I have to pay for real feed. There was almost zero dust which is nice, it’s probably due to the oils. Most feeds are just dusty and dry. I’ll be buying the larger bags from here on out.
