Perfect! We are trying to get a new parakeet used to us. We can have him sit with us in the living room and become familiar with being around us without grabbing at him with our hands and making him fearful of hands. Which is common for parakeets.

We got this for our cockatiel to use when taking her to the vet. It has a nice little perch on it and we love the wide access door to get her in and out.

I have to throw a dish town over the top because my bird keeps trying to fly out the plastic windows. poor birdies. Other than that it serves the purpose.
