The sled came with dents and rust spots. It obviously was a used sled that was refurbished, and not very well at that. Bottom line is it’s not a sled for a present. On the flip side, it does slide down the hill like it’s supposed to. I believe that most issues could have been lessened if it was shipped with much better packing. Mine came only in a clear plastic bag.

We used our sled for the first time yesterday. My husband put WD-40 on the bottom, and we FLEW down a 100ft hill. The snow was not deep 1-2", so that may have influenced the damage the sled sustained when landing on a gravely surface at the bottom of the hill, scratches and dents, etc. This sled is metal, painted blue, and pops in and out of shape a little, like the hood of an old truck. The sticker came off with the first run (but my husband is 220lbs). For the price, it is absolutely worth it. I know if we had bought a plastic sled it would be broken right now.

Had issues getting the sled but the seller was very easy to work with and made things right. The sled itself it the Batman version. I didn’t purchase it for the Batman aspect but it was nice looking - for two runs down the hill. The decal is totally gone. Once they get cold they simply break off from the sleds in multiple pieces. I purchased the sled due to metal composition rather than purchasing a yearly plastic sled. The sled is easily dented and the metal is ‘wrinkled’ from imperfections of the sledding hill. I hope it lasts as long as the ones from the 70’s and 80’s. I guess I expected more from a metal sled.

Right when I opened the box, the sled was dented in the middle and the Superman logo was cracked and fell apart. The box as undamaged so it seemed this was packaged damaged.Update: customer service was very helpful and the sled works perfectly fine otherwise

This blue 26 inch diam snow saucer was delivered on time, boxed well and without any dents.I am actually going to use it as a concave mirror to focus 15 kHz sound wave pulses.Then, when it snows in a few months or so, take a ride on the saucer down a small snow hill.The aluminum saucer is well made.

This is perfect for moving my large plants and transplanting heavy stuff in my yard. I’ve used plastic ones for years but they never last. This is so much sturdier than plastic and I will have it for years :) very happy.
