This is the best sled I've ever owned! My 7 year old, 14 year old, wife, and I all had a blast on it. Steers really well!

Purchased 2 of these (orange model) in years past and they were pretty fast and fun. Our originals still work well, but needed 2 more now that everyone is big enough to ride. They arrived today and one looks ok, but really disappointed to see that other one, is cracked on 6 of the 8 plastic screw holes on the rear runners. The box looks fine so it seems either the screws were over-tightened during manufacturing or the quality has just really gone down. Now reading other reviews experiencing same problem and no replacement parts available. For over $200 each ($220 w/tax) which is quite a bit for a sled, I worry about them lasting long flying down a hill under the weight of a kid when it arrives broken in an un-damaged box.Update**Took another chance ordered another and it arrived cracked in the same spots as the other one I received and same as other reviewers. This one appeared to have a sticky glue-like substance on it like the manufacturer tried to glue the broken piece back together. It’s really a shame because these used to be a really good sled.Update*** Have now returned 4 in a row hoping for 1 more that wasn’t damaged. Seller has been quick to refund but I wish they would just send me 1 that isn’t broken. This has been going on for weeks and we are running out of winter.

So fast, turns wonderfully, and easy to use. I have never used a better sled or toboggan. The only problem is they don't take me back up the hill! They are not light... if that is something you are worried about. To my family that means they will last longer. I bought 2 for my kids, but I will be stealing them for myself when they aren't looking

Two years on and it's the best sled I've owned. Provides an excellent riding experience and has remained in great shape. Fits two easily.

Me and my grandkids had so much fun that I bought a second one when it was on sale. I normally do not like laying on my stomach to sled but this was comfortable even with my bad back.It does need padded protector on the front bar. I cracked my tooth when I hit a large bump.I added padding on both sleds for safety. They really move and steer well. Does not work well in deep snow but once you have a path, they fly down the hill.

Purchased over a year ago but finally had a chance to ride this week. This thing is faster than any other sled we tried. Works both head first and feet first. Even though head first is more scary, it's actually easier to steer and shift your weight. When using feet first you need to really push your feet down and turn or shift your weight far forward in order to get the front rails to bite.

I was looking for something different than the usual thin plastic toboggans and saucers and this caught my eye. When it arrived I was already impressed; it comes fully assembled and is light weight while still feeling sturdy. Then we finally got enough snow to test it out and had a blast. This sled is fast but so easy to steer it's actually less scary than a regular sled for my more cautious child. The whole family loved it; from a skinny 10 year old to his 175 lb Dad. Definitely worth the price!

I purchased one of these few yrs ago and when I saw this one advertised for half the price, I had to jump. Its a Christmas gift for my grandson. He used the 1st one I bought and loved it so he will be surprised. This sled is the best I've ever ridden . Its so fast but has excellent steering and braking (roll off lol). Its quality made and comfortable. Can't believe I got lucky. These are hard to come by.

Used the sled for the first time today and had a lot of fun. Well built, steers really well and goes fast. Doubled up with my son at a combined weight of 230lbs and was easily solid enough to take the load. Looking forward to some bigger sledding missions now. Maybe need to get another one :)

This sled is Amazing. We get speeds over 20km/hour on our trails as two adults. It takes the turns and jumps we have so smooth it keeps your flying down the runs. We can make it down our 1.3km trail in 4 mins! The only bad part is the 30 min hike up. We are a 40 and 50 year old adult and this was money well spent. I wouldn't even let kids ride it on our trails (they recommend 13 and up anyway) so to us they are a great toy for adults young at heart.

I saw a neighbour with one ....so bought two for my wife and I to get seniors exercise, we are both 70.I have packed and groomed our toboggan slope for the past 50 years for our kids, grandkids and now since they have grown we import neighbourhood children who love these sleds so we got two more. Youngest was girl 4.5 years, who was on the sled and down the hill before I could offer instructions. Apparently it was easy enough to figure out on the way down the hill and she never wants to stop after many runs.We have about 25 riders, male and female from age 4yr to 70yrs, weight 40lb to 250lb and all preferred to use these sleds over standard wood toboggan, racers or dish sleds. With covid we have families visit and rotate through so we get lots of sledding in with each group visit. We have no broken parts to date but the weak spot would be pivot point on front skis.Since I groom our slope the base is more like a ski hill so sleds are not in the rough and get good speed on runs.Kids are already asking about tobogganing this season as soon as the slope is packed.

My husband and I are 56 and 49 years old. We just bought two sleds, thus we cannot say how much they would "live" (we have the toboggan and Riva saucer for 18 years which serve us very well). However, we could say already something about YUKON HAMMERHEAD PRO HD Sled. It is really awesome!! Great design: sled is comfortable, fast, has adjustable strap for caring it, light (about 9 lbs) and just beautiful. It is not for a deep snow, but it works great on packed snow. We just went for night sledding on hiking trail in a local park and we had a blast!Since we cannot go down hill skiing now due to COVID-19, thus these sleds would be a great alternative for us. We highly recommend this product.

We purchased this for my children because where we live there are no steep hills. We couldn't get any sleds or 3 ski style gt's, or coasters of any kind to function successfully. So we gave this a shot hoping it would be able to at least travel the shallow rise of our surroundings so we could go coasting with our kids. Boy, did they ever! I'm almost certain this thing could be fun on any hill that is steep enough to drain water haha! It's fantastically fast, however, you are in complete control because the steering works so well. Very well built and quite light weight. We tried it on our belly, stacked with people laying on top of each other, sitting in a row and steering with your feet. Everything works amazingly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering a high end coaster that will surely last a long time and is incredible fun.
