We like this for our puppy as it’s easy to get on/off, is a good length and helps her not pull as much. But it can give you a little rope burn if the puppy gets excited and tries to pull. That’s the only thing we don’t love about it. Wish the handle was something different than rope

I love the colors. the materials are durable and work well. I do think it's a bit long given my needs but overall this is a super bargain and well worth the few dollars it costs.

I am a dog behaviorist / trainer and slip leads are the only leash I train with and teach my clients to train with. They are wonderful for learning to lead the dog on a walk by using my techniques. This leash is a light purpose, well made and has a lock at the top to hold the leash up behind the dogs ears (proper position for a slip leash). I bought this leash for my niece for her birthday. My niece got a new 5 month old powder puff Chinese crested puppy. Jazz is learning to follow beautifully on this leash.

This leash is well made and works well.The only flaw I found was the silicone rubber heart shaped cover that is near the slip loop would sometimes get caught up in long hair around the neck. If it was a material that had less grip and didn't catch longer neck hair it would be perfect. We have had our dog's hair trimmed short and since then it has been fine until it grows back out.
