Used this Pressure gauge on car and bicycle. Easy to read functionality as it holds the reading after releasing it from the stem and bring it into light. Seems accurate and feels substantial.

Easiest to Read pressure dial, extremely Accurate and Grips easily for Arthritic and Carpel Tunnel Hands. It’s well worth the money. It stopped tire pressure light staying on by accurately letting me know which tire was low. It’s time to ditch the old school pocket gauges that lack accuracy and buy this one. It’s good for your husband, teenagers, and a great gift for family, friends and coworkers.

This item is consistent and appears to be more accurate than digital readers. I also like how easy it is to reset. I keep one of these in every vehicle and they seem to last a couple of years before they become defective. Highly recommend!

I haven't done any effort to calibrate this gauge, but it seems accurate enough to me. It has a nice heft and takes very fast readings that are retained until released. I have several of these and like them better than the other gauges I've bought over the years.

I got this quality gauge when other cheap ones were giving me false readings that were never uniform. This one is exact every time, and easy to use and to bleed off a little if I over fill. I keep it right in the vehicle at all times. I will probably get another for our other vehicles. Really like the quality and accuracy.

I would probably trust this compared to the 'stick gauges', but not by much. Holds the pressure reading after removing from tire stem. Not sure about accuracy, though pretty reproducible. Quality of construction is not great. Dropped one a few feet onto concrete and it broke instantly such that the needle was stuck at 10 psi for minimum reading. An inexpensive gauge that is better than nothing but don't expect long lifespan.

UPDATE: This pressure gauge is a piece of junk. No sooner did I leave a great review that the next day, the gauge basically fails. I went out to test the pressure on my car's tires and the reading was off, by about six pounds. Then I noticed that the needle would not hold at pressure. So when you remove it from the valve, it should hold at the pressure reading and only release when you hit the little button on the side. Well this one now immediately starts coming down even without the pressure release button pressed.I've downgraded my review from a 5-star down to a 1-star.----------------------------------------------------------I bought this pressure gauge as a backup to keep in my wife's car. I've got both a good quality Milton digital gauge at home and a Jaco analog gauge in my car. I tested this unit, and it is pretty much within 0.5 PSI of the other two. I went to get some new tires for my wife's car and I compared this pressure gauge's readings to the calibrated gauge they were using at the shop and it was within 1 PSI of their machine on all four tires. It is built well, it is easy to use since the head is straight and it is compact, it is reasonably accurate, it is easy to read, and it is cheap. What more could you want?

Es compacto para llevarlo en el auto y revisar la presión de las llantas sin ningún problema. Es preciso y tiene un botón de reinicio, no batallón con baterías porque no las necesita.

At 12 pounds according to my favourite dial gauge the Slime reads 17 pounds. This was to carry on my tractor so didn't have to be dead accurate but 5 pounds off is unusable. I have a couple much better quality ones that I carry in my cars. I've compared my favourite garage dial gauge to them and it's very close. I will compare the Slime to them in case something is wrong with my gauge and change this review if warranted.

Although I always get my tires checked when my oil is changed, I know it's a good idea to check the pressure once a month for safety and to prolong the life of the tire. I had been using another brand (Victor) for about a year, and I never noticed the dial didn't go back to zero when released. Maybe I dropped it, but I have no idea how long I was driving around on under-inflated tires, although they look okay and have plenty of tread. In other words, I thought I was reading 30 psi when I was actually reading 25 or less. The best thing is probably to use 2 different gauges for comparison, but make sure the needle goes all the way back to zero after the pressure is released. Learn from my mistake! So far, the Slime gauge is working fine, but I've only used it a few times. In summary, it does the job. It is easy to read and holds the pressure until you press the release button. It's small enough to keep in a glove box, but I keep it in my trunk. It looks sturdy and well-made, but for $8.99 I'll be happy if it lasts for more than a year. I will post a follow-up comment if it breaks.Edit: 2/16/13 - Still using this gauge and it's working fine. A neighbor compared my Slime gauge with his more expensive digital one, and the psi reading was very close. So I am still happy with this purchase.
