These Stepper motors do work. If you replace one, replace them all. The quality of the dash clusters that were used during these years are crap. When I disassembled by cluster, the RPM stepper motor fell off without assistance , it wasnt even the one that had failed. Be sure to use painters tape to mark where the gauges are for reassembly. I strongly suggest buying an OBD reader and not installing the top cover until you reinstall and check your gauge readings against the ODB readings, including speed needle for accuracy.

Removed the non working wiper motors and installed these. Installed with no issue and they worked like a champ. Now all my gauges work and work smoothly.

Stepper motors are good and solved the parasitic draw on a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer that was draining the battery over night. Replacement was easy using vacuum desolder pump and soldering iron.Parasitic draw was traced using multimeter to IPC/DIC fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. Removed instrument cluster and draw was gone.Other notes: New cluster is $300+ plus core charge of $300 = $600+. Read that swapping a cluster from another trailblazer may work but will throw an error at startup because the cluster stores mileage and the vin number and will need to be programmed to match the vehicle. Sending cluster off to be rebuilt is $150+. This kit, less than $20 and I already own a soldering iron and desoldering tool.

Ordered this to fix the gauges on a 2004 Tahoe XL, The whole cluster started giving out on me including the lights and PRND indicator.PRND WAS FIXED BY RESOLDERING ALL THE LARGER RESISTORS ON THE BOARD. btw (I'm guessing they de-soldered or cracked from the heat)I ordered this kit to fix the gauges and lights, unfortunately, the box was opened and some items fell out during shipping. I contacted Support and was quickly sent my missing parts. WOOOOEverything you need is in this kit besides a soldering iron, flux, and solder wick, I had everything I need already so it was an easy fix. (They sell an alternate kit with all the stuff you need to do the job if you need it)

Yes, the kit contained all that the ad claimed to provide, and yes, the stepper motor and bulb replacements mean that I once again have a working gas gauge and cluster lights. My hesitation on giving a 5 star review is that once I reinstalled my instrument cluster I'm now getting two dash codes: P0650 (malfunction indicator lamp control circuit malfunction) and P0381 (glow plug/heater indicator circuit malfunction) that I didn't have before. I'm not sure if this is coincidental or if the replaced parts caused these issues.
