Our World-famous Wideband O2 air/fuel ratio UEGO gauge features a digital LED display and sweeping LED 'needle' that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. A 52mm (2-1/16") gauge housing ensures that it will fit in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere. All AEM digital gauges feature a 0-5V analog output for use with data loggers and almost any engine management system. Each gauge comes with black and silver bezels and black and white faceplates for multiple color combinations and a custom look (a black Lambda faceplate and black and white Air/Fuel Ratio faceplates). The Bosch UEGO sensor gives the controller its speed and accuracy. The Bosch 4.9 LSU sensor used in the AEM Wideband UEGO AFR Controller Gauge has a faster light off time and draws less current than the 4.2 LSU sensor used with AEM's 30-4100 Wideband UEGO Controller Gauge, which will be superseded to the gauge in August, 2014. The 4.9 LSU sensor features the same fuel compatibility as the 4.2 LSU and NEVER requires free-air calibration when used with AEM's Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge. The 4.9 LSU sensor uses a different connector than the connector used with the 4.2 LSU sensors included with the original 30-4100 gauge controller. The sensors are not interchangeable between the two gauge controllers in any way, including changing connectors on the gauges. The Wideband O2 air/fuel ratio UEGO gauge is a must if you want to maximize your engine's power and safety. When tuning an engine, accurate air/fuel ratio data is critical because running with too rich of an AFR can cause a loss of power, and running a lean AFR can result in serious engine damage. AEM's digital Wideband AFR UEGO gauge can quickly alert you to even a .1 change in air/fuel ratio and provide enough time to shut down an engine before damage occurs. There are two harnesses that connect to the back of the AEM UEGO gauge. The longer harness connects to the UEGO sensor. The shorter harness contains four leads.

So I bought this UEGO AFR gauge to allow me to monitor my Air/Fuel ratio in my EVO X because I upgraded my fuel system. After installation, which was pretty easy thanks to YouTube videos, my AFR gauge would start off at 14.7 (which is normal) but then max out and go to ***. I checked only line about what this issue was and a lot of things I found was that people would receive bad O2 sensors with their kits and I was afraid that is what happened to me. But after testing and checking my MAP sensor I found that my MAP sensor was bad and that if was causing my car to run super lean. After replacing the MAP sensor the AFR gauge started working properly which made me very happy. All-in-all, the installation process was easy, the kit came with two different color choices (black or silver), and helping identify a problem that my ECU wasn't reporting made this purchase one of the best decisions I have made lately. I would purchase again if need be.

It works and it preforms very well, it's very responsive to sudden changes. A lot of the instillation and preformance depends on the vehicle but the power wiring pigtail could be another foot longer and the sensor lead itself is plenty long for my installation. You will need to know basic wiring and have a second bung welded into your exhaust in the correct spot. The "P4" setting is terrible, do not buy it for this purpose. It's not emulated well at all actually just makes my miata (1994 1.8L) run deathly lean, almost like the stock ecu isn't reading the signal correctly (wiring was verified through factory wiring diagrams). I ended up buying a new narrowband and welding in the provided bung after already cutting into the wiring. The setting switch is deeply recessed into the device and the retention tab actually blocks access to it. The two wiring pigtail connections and placed too close and the cutout for them is not big enough, they both just barely fit in and you have to wiggle with it a little to even get both to get into place. It works as it is but it's not ideal. After a few months and one return/replacement later because of a faulty bosch sensor and some weird troubleshooting, it's had no issues since and I've placed about 2500 miles on it with quick readings, and no sun glare even with the top down and shining on it.Update 12/10: I have since moved to standalone and don’t need the narrowband emulation feature anymore. Unfortunately after 4000 miles the sensor again has died and reads full lean, it also fails the brake clean test miserably with no response even when soaked. Will be contacting seller for a potential replacement sensor.

Entirely outstanding in terms of price and performance. This much value for 150 dollars is amazing compared to what you got for your money 15-20 years ago. Back then you paid more and didn't even get a gauge let alone a good one with an easy install. The gauge is easy to read, responds quickly and looks pretty. It doesn't flicker or anything so I don't know why people complain about distracting flashing lights. The brightness seems just right for every situation so far and you don't notice it unless you glance over to the windshield pillar- maybe it's annoying with gauge cluster mounting or with internal LED lighting or something. Dunno. Everyone's car is different. But I had no problems in my NA miata, even in bright sunlight with the top down.Installation was straightforward and easy except for the firewall routing. If you have an easy passage through your firewall and 12v/GRND/signal wires already set aside, this is under a 5 minute install. I had the thing up and running in about 2 minutes... then 2 hours later I had it installed in my dashboard. The extra two hours was entirely devoted to firewall/dashboard cable routing. Getting the rectangular cable connectors fed through the firewall was annoying but that's the worst of it. With practice I could probably get it down to 15-20 minutes. The gauge feels a bit fliimsy compared to autometer (which feel like they're made from metal or something), but you won't ever touch it once installed, so this is a minor quibble.

As always it was delivered in true Amazon fashion, nearly before I ordered it. The gauge response time is almost non-existent, it's so fast. In fact if I have any complaint, it is the LED needle is way too responsive, it needs to be dampened a little so it is more apt to display an average, but with a short decay time. Other than that I am 100% pleased and look forward to using it when I add the turbo. Thanks again Amazon, and of course AEM for their superior, yet affordable products. UPDATE: 9 months and MAYBE 5000 miles after purchase the O2 sensor died a horrible death. When I looked into replacement under Warranty, I discovered it comes with NO Warranty whatsoever!!!! Amazon does not even offer their "insurance" for this product, which they attempt to shove down your throat on every other imaginable product. AEM wants $105 for replacement. but if you buy it listed as Bosch model # 17025 P/N 02580170254UG you will receive a Ver. 4.9 sensor with correct plug and laser trimmed resistor calibration. I found it for $67 @ Amazon. I machined a heat sink to press onto my new sensor, as well as a finned isolator ported to pump the exhaust gasses using both high pressure and low pressure passages to ensure accurate sniffing.
