This is a great set for the DIY'er. Comes with everything you need to be able to measure, fill, and bleed your A/C system. Comes in a great storage case that holds everything, and instructions on how to properly use it.

This is a quality manifold with well made connections, good valves, and accurate gauges. For the price and quality you cannot beat this deal.

The gauges, adapters, fittings and hoses all seem to be good quality. Everything works as intended, no leaks, comes with some spare seals (would like to know how to get more). Only negatives: LP gage sits at 2psi when nothing hooked up, and hoses are a little tough to bundle back into the kit. Overall though, very pleased with the purchase, already serviced 2 cars.

Worked for my R134a car and for a friend's R22 home air conditioner. Seems to be very accurate and the connectors had absolutely no leaks. Good set of adapters. That's what's needed for an air conditioner job. Recommend.

Seems like a good kit - Though I should have checked the gender of the included can tap, as I needed female adapter for my available R12A refill cans, instead of the male threaded can tap that was included here with this kit. I had to aquire a seperate kit for the refill, but overall things worked well enough when using this kit.

The unit seems good and was able to take readings but the valve stem seals are of plastic and are terrible and will leak and fail usually after one use from being frozen. Replacing with better type helped a lot and made the unit usable

Decent quality. Don't know how accurate, but appears to work good. Good price, except after I bought it , it had a lower price. Its not Pro grade, but for occasional usage just fine.

Bought this to refill the refrigerant in my truck. The hardware is good quality. Heavy feel to them. Not cheap feeling. Gauges are accurate. This will work adequately for you if you are a shade tree mechanic like me just working on your own vehicles. The only thing I didn't really care for was the hook that screwed into the top for hanging from the hood. It tends to come loose if you don't tighten it down with a wrench and just try to hand tighten it. It also comes with fittings that fit both the traditional cans you must pierce as well as the new self-sealing cans which makes this much more useful as anymore the only refrigerant bottles you can find are the self sealing ones. The carrying case is nice but too much of a pain to take everything apart to store in the case. I just put the case on a shelf for safe keeping and hung the gauge from a pegboard in my garage. Well worth the cost if you need to recharge your vehicles A/C yourself. Just use common sense and follow the chart for pressures based on the ambient temperatures. Watch a youtube video if you are worried you don't understand.

I was hoping this would work as well as the standard Yellow Jacket brand that HVAC technicians use. I am a homeowner, not an HVAC tech, needing to recharge my central air conditioner myself because of the shortage of HVAC techs available these days, long lead times to get service, and high prices. I was not disappointed in this manifold gauge set. In fact, I had put it away for a few of days with some liquid refrigerant locked into it, which I only noticed in the little view window after pulling the gauge set back out. The thing that occurred to me is that the refrigerant had not leaked out over all that time. The thing that I think that this kit is missing is a set of inline ball valves or thumbscrew core depressor valves. Without those, you lose all the refrigerant in the hoses when you disconnect, and disconnecting the fluid line is more messy. The kit is not advertised as having these, but I'm just pointing it out.
