I want to write a review that tells you this is one heavy steel door security bar. I'mImpressed with it and ease of installing it.The bar pulls up and off so you use it like stick in you door when not in use. It very nice I have to say so far very impressed with it..

This is the second security bar I’ve bought! I love them. They are easy to use and great product for the price. Most security bars with this size can run up to $60 bucks and up

I installed this on a sliding glass door and even waited 24 hours for the Velcro tape to stick before putting the bar on the holders. Within a day the bar fell to the floor. The tape peeled right off of it! They should use VHB tape instead of the poorer quality supplied. (The strips were not even the right size!) Further the design is flawed in that opening the door all the way causes the two holders to hit into each other which also forces them off. I did not want to screw into the metal panel of the door. Disappointed in the design. Ended up buying a Wedgit instead.
