This is a quality piece. You can buy knock-offs without the branding and I’d be concerned if the quality. This one, when used as intended will provide years of use. If it’s abused or overloaded, it will fail. It was shipped quickly and in proper packaging. Good value and easy to use.

These are great for simple adjusting of the length of the anchor rope without mastering knot tying.The only trouble is they are so nice and handy that they disappear into other peoples boats!Ordering two more.

We use one for the front anchor and the back tie off rope. Holds the boat in place all day in addition with a box anchor.

I love these slide hooks. I wish I had found them sooner. Paired with some beach spikes I no longer have to look for trees close to the boat or buy longer ropes and tie and untie knots. My only complaint is they're expensive. But they do seem to be made of excellent quality stainless steel.

I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t try it. The slide hook changed my life when anchored in windy slightly rough conditions at our favorite sandy beach. Using this to lower the anchor rope to my boats lower front trailer anchor bolt made a huge difference all while having piece of mind of still being able to tie off the anchor line to the anchor cleats. A must have for every boater. It will change your life.

I like the solid construction of these unit. Fantastic for adjusting shore anchors, depending on other boats coming or going, wind direction changes, water levels going up or down. Easy to adjust from either the boat or the beach.
