These hooks will replace the hooks that came on my trailer safety chains. Would get 5 stars if they came with stainless steel cotter pins instead of thin aluminum pins that could be the weakest link.

Lost a hook on my trailer safety chain and couldn't find one locally for less than the price of this pair. Installed the second hook on the front of my truck as I get stuck at the landfill on occasion. Hook is sturdy, time will tell how long the safety tab will last.

Like the title states, the quality is good for the price. I don't see why these won't help save my trailer from careening into pedestrians if my trailer hitch were to fail. Quality seems good, but I would know my limits, don't try lifting past what these are rated for, maybe even stay under it. Don't know what kind of recycled woks and pot metals were used to create these babies...
