This is an excellent flashlight - bright, toughly built, and straightforward design and operation. It's a sound alternative to similar so-called "tactical" lights that sell for far more. Battery life is excellent. I observed no overheating problems, even on the brightest setting. I like the fact that the 5000 mAh lithium battery can be used as a power bank to top up a cell phone or other small USB device.Be sure to remove the plastic wrapper that covers the terminals of the battery. There's an apparently similar light from Sparkleing here on Amazon at a lower cost.Â

This is a decent light and I like the size lion battery it uses. The 26800 battery is not in many flashlights yet. This light uses a round die led which helps when used with an aspheric lens. The stock battery output on a full charge was poor. So I used my own vapecell v62 6200mah inr26800 battery and the output improved by about 30% I measured throw at 185kcd. Not bad for the price. As for quality it's your standard cheap build you see in all lights at this price point. The led is centered but the ring around it is off center giving it a cheap look. But it doesn't effect the beam quality at all. All it needs is a better battery and it will be a decent light for the money.

Charged flashlight fully tried to ignite some sort of Fire on a dark object as directions for flashlight indicated and did not even come close to igniting fire with the lens in place.Overheating is a high possibility as warned in the directions for the flashlight. Some other brands of flashlights are designed with different materials and vents to prevent overheating so you do not have to worry about switching from high mode to low mode after a short period of time to prevent overheating. The directions even state that there is a possibility that the LED lens can burn out if you are not careful. This flashlight is a little high maintenance because the directions also stated that you need to fully discharge the battery and fully charge the battery at least once a month to prevent the battery from getting damaged. So this is not a flashlight you can store in a drawer until you are waiting to use it and if you forget about it it does not have a self-discharge ability like some other rechargeable batteries which prevent the batteries from swelling and becoming unusable if they are not used for a period of time.My drone is a great example of this it has high capacity batteries for long flight times but, is designed to very slowly discharge if they are not being used to keep the battery from swelling and being unusable.
