I just installed this shifter in my 93 Del Sol after going through 2 cheap, weak, flimsy shifters, both of which snapped in half while driving. My car is stubborn to shift sometimes but this shifter makes it almost effortless due to its weight and rigidity. It is definetly worth the price considering that your other options are trash compared to this. Nothing beats this shifters strength and solidity. It shifts so confidently and unyielding. I would recommend buying a new seating bushing for it as well for best results because the install requires the linkage to be taken out anyways. This shifter is the best one you can get, hands down, don’t take your chances with a cheap alternative, they will inevitable break on you.

I rebuilt my shifter using all OEM parts about 14 years ago. My friend bought me an inexpensive eBay short shifter (blue) a couple of years later and I loved it. The car sat for about a decade, Covid hit and I decided to rebuild the majority of the vehicle. The bearings had rusted in the short shifter so I ordered a cheap one off Amazon. It was absolute junk, and I didn't even install it. I ordered it because I couldn't justify paying the price for the Skunk2. Well, I said screw it and ordered the Skunk2. There is no comparison in quality between this and any of the other shifters I have used, including OEM. Just buy it and don't think about it. I drive this car every day and smile every time I shift now. You won't regret spending the money.

Would've been nice to know that it didn't come with any hardware, bushings or pieces that come with the purchased shifter. I had to go find pieces to occupy the gap from the OEM shifter in order for it to work.. aside from that it was in good condition, it functions as it should, it got here pretty quickly.

It is way more better than the OEM part. I should have bought it sooner. I kinda wish I bought the skunk2 double bent, so the shifter will a bit taller. However, this is low key shifter tho, you couldn't tell it is after market shifter just by the look, unless you feel it. It is a bit pricy but shifter is one of those parts you don't want to go too cheap.
