I found this cooked and worked very well. It is not cast iron heavy, which is nice making it more mobile. I seared a tomahawk steak on it, it fit perfectly and cooked well. Did not tip over, was easy to clean later, fit on one big burner. Very satisfied.

Very nice pan. I do agree the handles get hot. So I use a tea towel to hold on to them. Cooks evenly and simple to use and maintain.

Bought the 9". I like this pan so much, I'm buying the 11" too. If they had flat non-grilling pans, I'd buy them too. The folding handle is fantastic and makes cleaning in the dishwasher so much easier,I cooked a 6oz burger on the pan and was doubtful I'd see the grilling marks but they were there. The burger came out better than most I cooked on regular pans. Cooking bacon on it was equally amazing, dripping the grease away from the bacon. Cleanup for both was super simple, rinsing in the sink with hot water, just about cleaned it off without having to even grab the sponge (but I did put it in the dishwasher) and while it was soaking in the sink with soapy hot water, where every other pan I have lays in on an angle, this one sits perfectly flat because of the folding handle and that also made squeezing into the dishwasher easy as pie. I plan on also trying chicken breast and steak in the near future but I doubt there will be anything to complain about.My only complaint is they need to come out with flat, square pans with folding handles. It looks like a market no one has jumped into before. If they did, I'd but them immediately.

I finally got to use my Grill Pan. It worked great. I was a little skeptical. brcause it was very lightweight. But it heated evenly and cleaned up quickly after doing a few staeks and some carmelized onions. Happy with my purchase.

I wanted a lighter weight griddle that is quality and I love this one. Still “cast iron-like” but not as heavy.

I rated this lower even though I love the way it cooks a good steak.The handles get just as hot as the pan and this was not stated in the ad. This is dangerous. I’m used to it now and have hot pads ready but something should have been was done differently with the handles for safe cooking.

I've already used it a few times...stove to oven and everything came out perfect. I'm not sure if the lid goes in the oven though. It's light weight, easy to clean

No outdoor grilling in the late Fall, all Winter and early Spring where we live in the Pacific North West (lots of wonderful rain).We've been looking for a better way to finish our sous-vide cooking than just tossing the meat in a regular frying pan.A regular frying pan will continue the internal cooking process changing our perfect medium rare steak into an almost well done steak, which is very bad.This grilling pan with lid is the solution.This griddle pan with glass lid is perfect for just working on the maillard reaction of adding grill marks, a nice color and a wonderful taste to the exterior of the meat and NOT extending the internal cooking of the meat. Our meat looks and tastes fantastic and retains the done-ness we desire, usually medium rare.We use a light aerosol cooking spray to coat the pan before heating starts. The lid keeps the splatter of this final step off the gas stove top. Takes only a few minutes to create the maillard reaction on each side of the meat. Cleaning is a dream with the non-stick pan coating.Works great. Glad we found this grilling pan with lid.
