I recommend the dual swivel model, which helps keep tongs attached over uneven ground & to disconnect when backing up at final destination.

I use these tongs for skidding logs out of the bush, and lifting onto sawmill. Works great once you get tension on it, sometimes tough to do on your own. Seem to be pretty solid I’ve been rough on them no problems to date

I was very skeptical about buying this skidding tong but after I skidded a downed tree with my tractor I knew it was going to work precisely as it should. I also used it to pickup smaller sections of the log to cut firewood sized pieces and it was flawless the tongs exceeded my expectations. My only regret is I should have bought these years ago

I bought a tractor with a front end loader about 3 years ago and kept putting off buying this accessory. But one use and it is has already proven its worth. Its strong, easy to use and allows my wife an I to do the work of 4 big men. I'm so glad I got it.

Very sturdy skidding tongs, quality paint, I use it with my tractor and my winch, very useful to handle logs, even large size, weight on the heavy side but is expected at this size. So far I am happy with the purchase. The only complaint I have is the teeth seemed to be too angled and I have sometime hard times to anchor the logs, hence the 4 stars only.

I bought them open box through amazon to aid in clearing some acerage at our new homestead and get the bigger logs to our saw mill, they work as amazingly... i tap them into thr log with thr back if the axe just so they dont fall off before i get back into the tractor to pull tention on it. When we get to our saw mill they fall right iff when i take the tension off the chain...they've never gotten stuck in the log. The curve of the tool is perfect to keep the log from getting hung up on brush or stumps.

I have bought several different tongs and this is the first set that actually works like they should! Hook set into a log properly and strong enough to anything they will fit around without bending. They are very well built. There may be cheaper ones for sale, but this set is the one to buy!
