These pencils are a deep black and wonderful. It is hard to find a deep black drawing pencil and these are great. Will buy again and again.

Awful! These pencils come pre-sharpened but once they get dull that first time and it's time to sharpen them they're done because the graphite inside breaks easily when sharpening. Complete trash! Avoid.

I bought these for my mother who has been having difficulty reading what she writes with a standard number 2 pencil. She loves them. The darkness of the pencil is perfect for her. They are typically for drawing but they do what she needs them to do and they aren't to soft.

This was a good buy. Drawing pencils can get expensive. The writing made with these pencils are not bad to smear.
