Using this in a marine environment. Not sure how it will stand up to the salt air and water but for now it is operating well

Good value for money. If you need a pulley in this configuration, it is made VERY well. Sturdy and good construction. It even looks good. I was very as impressed especially considering the price.

This is a tough little pulley. It was used to pull a golf cart onto a trailer. Also used to load a dead lawn tractor.

Great, easy to take apart and put back together. I bought this for my dog runner out in front of my house. Found two perfectly in-line trees just north of 100ft apart and silly me forgot to put on the pulley that came with the kit. SO... needed one that I could build around a per-existing structure. I bought this one and a stainless steal one. This will work 100x better since it has the ball bearings in it, while not the SMOOTHEST glide it was infinitely better than the more expensive 304 Stainless steal one which was an axle and torrid design meaning there was a lot of friction that could be applied to one or the other piece, especially out in the extremely humid and salty coast of Mississippi where I live.This also shines since while the "MOUTH" (Width) is wide since I couldn't find one half this size in the same breakdown design, the well (DEPTH to APEX) is equally wide. You put a half-in diameter rope in here, NONE of it is sticking out. WHICH also meant my 1/4in diameter coated cable had a more secure well to rest in. Where as the other one had like a 1/4in depth well meaning that any cable smaller than 1/2 inch had the chance of bouncing around and falling out, then pinching against the wall, impeding progress.This is clearly made for what it says its made for and I think I'll get a good bit of use out of it. Did get stuck on the runner, but not really its fault, had to clip off some crimped aluminum, that created like a spine of excess metal. Cut those off and now It should glide on and off that bit without struggle. Still a bit of a work in progress runner, but this DEFINITELY helps. Would recommend.

This was the largest pulley I could find for the 5/8" rope used for backstage rigging and weights. I would have preferred at least a 2" roller but not to be found online in this width. However, this works fine by increasing the weights from 3 to 6 lbs. That is just a preference for the application and the stiffness of the wire rope or in this case just woven rope. The dual ball bearing races maintain the roller centered with no dragging. It is easily used as a snatch block pulley.
