I searched for a tool that would help me with filling my own capsules. BUT, before I tell you about this amazing tool let me tell you about my quest for a tool thus far. I've tried the little spoon products and the tamping tools that are marketed for this purpose. The problem as you may imagine, especially if you are filling very fine powders such as kratom into a teeny weeny capsule opening with a teeny spoon...well you get it; messy, inconvenient, and not very effective.So, when I saw this product on Amazon, I was weary. I ordered it anyway because filling my own capsules is very tedious. Make sure that you order the size tool specific for the size capsule you need as this baby clings onto your capsule perfectly. It arrived faster than advertised and it arrived in the most creative and fun packaging...the tool arrives in a large test tube :) I immediately went to try it out.It is very easy to understand how this thing works. It basically makes your capsule a spoon! How ingenious.So, I popped one side of the capsule into the opening and placed the other side onto the very thoughtful 'holder'. It fits the size of your capsule perfectly and grabs it while you 'scoop' the product into the capsule...right out of the container! No having to pour anything out into a separate container. Once the product is packed, place the other side onto the filled cap...and that's it!I really love products such as this. They serve very specific needs and the creator really understands this need which shows through thier product. Soooo. Save the effort and just buy this thing to fill your capsules. You'll cut the mess and save tons of time!

Shipping was super speedy, less than 24 hours after placing the order it was here in my hands.Instead of making my 19 year old hypotensive ckd cat choke down 4+ sharp pill fragments every day I use pacncap to load what he needs into one sleek capsule vs playing the "did you swallow it? Nope, there it is on the floor... Go get some water... please don't throw up on the sofa!" game. It's wonderful and so much less stress for my old man and for me! After the loading in the 4 tiny sharp pill fragments i fill the rest of the space in the capsule with either his chitosan-based phosphate binder or powdered miralax instead of mixing it with his wet food because he does not appreciate the change in texture or flavor, I can't say I blame him.Not only does this help him eat more bye not requiring his food to have extra additives it's a huge Time saver for me as it's a hundred times easier to use than breaking out an assembling the acrylic 100 pill filler, oh and I would have to watch a few YouTube videos as well because I don't remember how to assemble it nor do I remember the order in which the pieces are stacked and bounced and uuugh. It's just too much and honestly that big filler would not work in this circumstance anyway because his medications beyond the core 4 change from day to day.This simple but awesome little doodad holderyscoop is perfect though. I'm new to taking care of a cat with kidney issues and anything that helps streamline the process or make it a little less stressful is a godsend.The only thing I'd change if given the opportunity would be the 5# color- anything other than white, it's too small to be basic white. I'm a child of the 90s & Lisa Frank so the brighter the better in order to make it stand out, quick to locate and not so easily lost on a busy table. Love it though, anybody who gives tiny, fiddly, bad-tasting weird textured meds or food sprinkles to their cat needs one of these and empty gelcaps- your cat will thank you!

I got this to fill some extra small capsules with a medicine I take. Having the capsule work like a "scoop" at the end of a stick worked for getting the medication from the bag to the capsule. However, the plastic material it's made out of has a significant texture to it. As such, all the powdered medication wanted to stick to that surface. And when I tried to remove the capsule from the scoop, the powder made it very difficult to pull it out. I wound up getting tweezers to remove the capsule.I love the idea they came up with for filling a small number of capsules, but I think they could have executed better with a glossy smooth finish that wouldn't hold on to the powder you're trying to get into the capsule.

I have many health issues and must make my own capsules with different supplements as I cannot take gelatin or glycerin caps. This is a handy little tool that I use. I bought the 000 and the 0 ones. I already had a capsule maker for 00 that makes a hundred at a time, but they no longer make or cannot sell those types of capsule fillers I assume because of the illegal drug trade. That really screws people like me as at times I need larger capsules so I don't have to take so many. Anyway this little tool is rather time consuming to use but works great. I saw someone else post that it was flimsy. I have not found it to be weak at all. Of course I make sure I shake whatever powder or herb I am using to fill it with and I never try to pack it in on the side of the container. I use a tamper for capsules if I feel I really need to press it in. I actually bought the 000 size so I could easily fill up to l gram without having to compact it. Works like a charm. I haven't used the small one yet, but I assume it will be just fine as well. I think the only drawback to these fillers is that sometimes the capsule does not want to release and you have to push it out with a toothpick or something, but the filler part is a tube so not really a big deal. Anyway, they can be a bit pricey with the shipping but I haven't found anything else like them anywhere and they definitely suit my needs.

Great tool. 51 seconds to pack a capsule with my supplement (finely ground mushroom). It was taking me at least twice that if not 3x as long without it. Nice product. Looks like it was 3D printed. Nice looking too. I ended up purchasing a packing tool set that helped speed up the process as well.
